Dear Munna BD Bhai,

Sorry to confuse you.

You know I am the applicant of 2006.
I had done the BBA & MBA on marketing,
My 1st job was in a advertising firm then I had joined
in the marketing & sales department of a Korean firm.

In the application form I mentioned 0611, But in
the cover latter I mentioned 0611 or 4163.

So, my 1st query is it make any problem & 2nd query
is presently 0611 NOC code is not available in the latest
NOC category.

As 0611 is not in current NOC code, so the CIC would evaluate
my application or they keep it as backlog for sine die.

Pls. advice me regarding the above query.

Thanks
Jackdaw

I am confused, did you hold 2 different jobs one as a Manager before applying and one as a consultant/analyst now? What did you write in the updated document form? NOC 0611 or NOC 4163? This point requires some clarification. This is what I know so far, from whatever you've said.

NOC 0611 (previously) was 'Sales, Marketing & Advertising Managers'
Included job titles: Internet communications manager, Web communications manager, Web marketing manager, advertising director, advertising manager, corporate sales manager, director, communications, director, media relations, director, public relations, fundraising campaign manager, manager, e-business, marketing manager, promotions manager, regional sales manager, sales and marketing manager.
Currently NOC 0611 is broken down and divided into 0121, 0124, 0601

NOC 4163 (previously & currently) : Business Development Officers and Marketing Researchers and Consultants
Included job titles: business development officer
community economic development consultant
economic development officer
industrial development officer
market researcher
marketing analyst
marketing consultant
regional development analyst
tourism development officer
tourism industry consultant

NOC 0611 doesn't exist anymore. It is superseded by 0121, 0124, 0601. It depends on your job duties which match.

I hope in the form you have written noc 0611. Because it is very unlikely that 0611 and 4163 are the same jobs. Another point to note is you will be assessed as per the rules of your initial application time. So if in cover and form you wrote 0611, its ok. But if in the form you've written NOC 4163, then you better be sure that it's the correct NOC.

You can find out more here: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=sales+manager

Jackdaw,
You did the right thing. No need to worry. You're an old applicant and you will be assessed based on old NOC. So, as per that, your NOC that you mentioned in form is correct (provided most of the job duties match). What you write in the form is important. You mentioned the right NOC 0611. The NOC that you mentioned in the cover envelope is not important and it's not a problem.

'For applications received before January 31, 2012: CIC will assess the occupations of the applicants using only the NOC 2006.
For applications received on or after January 31, 2012: CIC will assess the occupations of the applicants according to either the NOC 2006 or 2011, whichever of the two NOCs is the most advantageous to the applicant.'

DEAR DEBA BHAI,

THANKS A LOT, WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS? HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO TAKE PREPARATION FOR THEM? DON't BE LATE IN RESPONDING THIS TIME... ;)

I AM WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY.

BEST REGARDS,

INDIANAJONES.

I am sorry. Battled with a huge pending of works in office. You will now get MR. After medical, you will be asked to submit Passport. By this time, you can get prepared to save money as much as possible. You should also explore Canadian job market to manage job though I have never tried to do so. To get admitted for a course in Canada, you can also get preparation for academic IELTS so that you can achieve a better score before you fly. That's from me......

Dear Joyeta,
Thanks and also congratulations to you for Medical and RPRF, PNWS & PP Request from SGVO.
I think everything is written to your letter where to submit.
Though in my experience- as they requested to submit Passport, you should submit along with Medical Slips & Info (Appx-C), RPRF (Bank Draft), PNWS & Appx-A in Dhaka Canadian High Commission.
No, you cannot submit the whole documents until 13 March as they requested for 2 weeks later of medical (28/02/12).
May be, they require this time line (2weeks) due to review your medical report/(s) in Overseas Health Management Services in CHC, Singapore/ DMP.
Anyway, wish you good luck.

Thanks bhaiya for ur prompt reply. You said me to submit all the documents together with passport in CHC dhaka but in RPRF form they said you must submit fee payment directly to the CHC in Singapore. and in Appendix B they said to submit passport in CHC Dhaka. Now I am full confused about where to submit RPRF, PNWS and where to submit passport? Plz guide me quickly.

Agreed & well solved.....

My address is not appearing since 30 Jan '12. Can't understand what is happening in LVO.

Joyeta

Send your RPRF as advised in your RPRF. Send the PNWS to CHC Singapore.
Submit your Passport to CHC Dhaka as courier companies don't usually want to carry passports.

From ur words it feels like CHC works according to the wishes of courier service. CHC follows which is convenient for the courier service. Right?????

Hi Joyeta,

There is nothing to get confused. Just follow their instruction (fees to CHC Singapore & Passport to CHC Dhaka). If u r still confused then u can discuss with CHC Dhaka while/before submitting passport for ur clear understandings.

Best of luck....
