Dear Deva_Avik and Jnathan,
Thanks for replying yet both of u haven't had my query.

I know it very well as of late that"Once you send a valid IELTS score to your VO and they acknowledge the documents, its valid for eternity to CIC"

But I have not send my IELTS document to SGVO yet. It's still in my hand not in the hand of CIC.I stated that in my earlier messages.

Sit for IELTS on Aug, 2009. Still it is in my hand and for not sending my IELTS TRF to SGVO so far will it create any problem in the offing when I will be asked to render document updates?

Would anyone read through carefully and reply?

Official language testing

Take a language proficiency test from a designated testing agency

You must prove the level of language proficiency you claim on your application.

To do this, you must take a language proficiency test from an agency designated by CIC before starting the immigration process and submitting your application to the CIO.

Your test results must not be more than two years old at the time that you submit your application. you took your test after your application submit. so i think your IELTS is Valid until they asked for document submition

Make arrangements to take a language proficiency test with a designated testing agency and pay the test costs. A list of designated testing agencies can be found at:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp

Submit the assessment results with your application.

Note.Do not request that your (IELTS – General Training, CELPIP - General or TEF) language test result be sent directly to the CIO. Submit your original language proficiency test results with your complete application to the CIO.

Consult the “using your test results” section to determine how many points you will be awarded for your language proficiency.

Note: Test results from a designated testing agency will be used as conclusive evidence of your language proficiency. Other evidence in writing will not be accepted as evidence of language proficiency.

If you wish to be awarded points for your proficiency in both official languages, include the results of your official English language proficiency (IELTS – General Training or CELPIP – General) and your official French language proficiency test (TEF) with your application.
Using your test results

Use your language test results from a designated testing agency, to determine how many points you will be awarded for language proficiency.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

Use the following table to determine how many points you will be awarded for your test scores with the International English Language Testing System (IELTS):
Level Points
(per ability) Test results for each ability
Speaking Listening Reading
(General
Training) Writing
(General
Training)
High First official language: 4 6.5 - 9.0 7.5 - 9.0 6.5 - 9.0 6.5 - 9.0
Second official language: 2
Moderate Either official language: 2 5.5 - 6.0 5.5 - 7.0 5.0 - 6.0 5.5 - 6.0
Basic Either official language: 1
(maximum of 2) 4.0 - 5.0 4.5 - 5.0 3.5 - 4.5 4.0 - 5.0
No 0 Less than 4.0 Less than 4.5 Less than 3.5 Less than 4.0

deba_avik,

He should immediately inform his VO about his marriage and tell them that he'd send the required papers in a month or so. apart from PCC and Marriage cert, docs requirement for adding a spouse is almost same as the newborn. your reply was more elaborated in addition to mine. fine.

Hi all,

Please help me , I do need your comments.

I applied for PR of Canada under SW in Feb 2010 in Singapore VISA office. Recently, my application package was transferred to Warsaw, Poland visa office. I got a E-Mail few days before saying that I must update form 1 and supplementary information form, and I must submit Police certificate from Singapore ( I am living in Singapore).

Also, my status has changed to " IN PROCESS" saying that they have started processing my application, and they have sent me a letter few days before. I have not received the letter yet. I changed my home and so many times I informed them via email and fax, however still my mailing address on the website is wrong. I am getting crazy over this terrible issue.

Please tell me:

1- How can I solve the issue?
2-In what step my application case for PR is? Is it going in a normal way?

Thanks all in advance,
Tracy

Hi:

I am also 2006 applicant (December 12, 2006). CIC Singapore office sent a letter on November 4, 2009 for updated documents.
I sent my all papers on February 26, 2010 to Singapore.
I collected my CAIPS note few months ago, I have found that They received all documents on March 2, 2010 and I got 67 they forwarded the file to IO (immigration Officer) for Selection Decision on September 26, 2010.
In my CAIPS note, I found that they verified my IELTS result online and gave me 10 marks for that, So there is no chance of asking for IELTS result again.

Why did you send your 2 years old IELTS result at the time of full documents submission?

If you did so, then you made mistake.

Status change to IP is really a good news indeed. Congrats, at first for the new update.

What did u mean by form 1? Probably it is IMM0008. Fill them and validate and save them. After printing, sign it.
Definitely you're there for more than 180 consecutive days, that's why you have been required to send supplementary information form. Just do it according to your passport info.

Regarding your address change issue, I must suggest to contact your previous address which one is kept by visa office, I am damn sure, the letter they have issued must be in that address.

While submitting your updated docs and forms, write a cover letter describing the matter of your address change. BTW, does your ecas shows any date of In Process such as "we have started processing on ....January"?

Thanks for your reply! very happy to hear that.

Yes, it is written that " we reviewed your application and we started processing on 12 Jan 2012".

I have a question:

Is it possible that I send the required materials which are: updated Schedule 1 form, updated Supplementary Information Form , and original police certificates without waiting for their letter?

It is wise to collect the letter they have issued, still we don't know what they have written. As your ecas status is showing IP, they may require MR! Cannot you contact your previous address and collect the letter. If you cannot, write them immediately and let them know your current contact address mentioning that you have already informed the visa office regarding the current address. In letter you must write your file number, UCI number, full name, DOB and current contact address. If they do not reply promptly, you can fax them also.

Finally, it will be hassle free if you can collect the letter from your old address, Try hard. Many many good wishes for you.

Many thanks to you!

That is true, I will go my previous address and will try to get it.

You know, the time when my application files were in Singapore VISA office, I have received a letter in my new home. But, Singapore VISA office have transferred the files to Warsaw, then I do not know the new VISA office will notice my new address or not, because still their website shows something else, hey .......

Thanks for your reply, and wish you all the best.
