If the timeline to get worried is 18 months, then I am just 4 months away evenif I am post June! Sometimes I feel I have made the biggest mistake in my life by applying for this -it has cost me a lot of opportunities that I have foolishly let go off thinking I am very near to completion of the process -post June previledge surely didnt work for me so far, even some MI1 were processed faster!
Sorry for sounding like a looser, but I am very disappointed! Its exactly 1 year today from the date of my 1st PER :-(

You are a post June (MI2) applicant? Did you apply in August 2010? If so, can I know your current ecas status and when was it last updated? I think you're supposed to have MR by now... i am getting frsutrated :-\

I am going to Canada third week in next month. Someone answer which documents (papers) are normally checked in Bangladesh and Canada airport.

IN BANGLADESH: Passport and Visa

IN CANADA: Passport, Visa and COPR. Additionally list of things accompanying you and photo of Gold Ornaments, if you are carrying those with you. Though I was not asked for LIST and PHOTOGRAPH.

Applied in December 2010. Status also RBVO.

Dear mikrrbd,

I have also submitted my application on December'2010 as NOC 7216. Still shows E-cas RBVO. Really frustrating. Nobody knows what will happened in the coming future. Anyway, What is your NOC ?

dear mchowdhury,
just checked your profile and some posts. you applied in July 2010.
I can remember you got PER twice(due to IELTS issue). first one in Nov and 2nd one in March.
then in April 2011, your file was received by SGVO.
As per CAIPS report, expected MR date is just 1 year from the date of PER.
now, your date of PER is March,2010 (NOV 2010 is invalid)
so, you can expect to get your MR/PPR within March 2012
As per my prediction you will get it first week of Feb2012

I pray ur prediction come true for chowdhury apu!

hope 2011,
no need to panic..keep your hope alive :)

check the bold lines:
"Processing priority is now being given to Skilled Worker applications that meet new eligibility criteria in a third set of Ministerial Instructions (from July 1, 2011). Details are available on the CIC website. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, Skilled Worker applications under this most recent set of instructions are put into process on a priority basis as soon as the applications are received."

New MI-3 had same 29 NOC as MI-2, so your NOC is in current labour market demand. Besides very few applications of MI-3 reached at SGVO till today. so, SGVO is still working on MI-2
good luck

Dear Dr. Hasib

Thanks very much for the good wishes. After waiting for about a year and seeing RBVO for 8 months is enough to put a person >:(!

What you said is just the same as what I think, since I donot recall anyone from MI3 received MR from SGVO (or I miss out any posts?)

But sure my hope to finish my application in 2011 is gone. Anyway, life needs to go on and we will have to wait and at the same time keep fingers crossed.

CHG Singapore has recently been sending this to the awaiting applicants.

This explanation is nothing new, Applicants of CHC London, ND and other offices have received the similar type of replies a long ago. They never said they'd never process the applications in the backlog. they are saying that it could take more time to process them and their intention is clear to everyone, they are fast working on MI-2, MI-3 applicants so that they'd be able to work on MI-1 and pre June 2008 applicants. Remember, they are wooed by the huge amount of $$$$ they'd get as RPRF from these waiting applicants. Recession is crippling their economy and they are at the position where they have never been before since the Great Recession of 1930.

Canada in 2011 is not the same country as it used to be in Pre 2008.
They are more cautious in keeping their labor market in a state where immigrants and their own people would not reach a collision in the job search.

Yes Dr. Hasib, you are right...but the thing is, I am afterall the same person here whos been waiting since July'10, with a mindset that its going to be over within a few months -which is what makes me sad! I understand my PER would be counted from Mar'11.

Thanks a lot SamDhaka for your good wishes!

A little information add with the above information:
If you are Govt. /Semi-Govt. / Autonomous organization's employee, you need also NOC at BD airport, otherwise you will not get release from BD airport.
