I completed my MR on the 17/10/11 but there is still no update on my ECAS! They had actually requested 1 extra item apart from the usual POF/Photos along with the MR, PPC of my stay in UAE. I had sent all the details on 20/10/11.

BTW - I am a pre-june 2010 applicant.

Does the ECAS only change after approval of the documents + MR? I was hoping to see "Medical Received" by now!

Congrates mzr, Do not rely on ecas system. You will be notified in due time for next steps without changing ur ecas. You will get passport request in this month, may be last week of November 2011.

Be relaxed.

No worries, Police Clearance from BD is easy.
I took it pretty easily from Dhaka before I went to Canada for my Undergrad.
Now the situation is is easy but you gotta follow some steps as posted above.

Currently My passport says that I am a Student though I have been working full time for the last 4 yrs.
I chose the profession as student as I wanted to get into PhD program after I had finished my masters last week. Now, I wanna change my profession as IT professional on the passport. has anyone done that? Anyone else recently has taken IELTS from Wings ( Formerly BETS) in Dhaka? Would you please share your experience with us? I am gonna send my File within a month or so. to CHC Singapore.

What do IT professionals write at the place of Profession on their passport?

So Today my passports suppose to be reached in CHC. But the lady from CHC told me my passport not came.So I shall have to wait after eid. I was planning to fly before Eid. friends give me some advice actualy when I aspect my passport back? I saw DM on 24/10/2011
