Can11 don't feel bad. I did the same and felt sorry. But nothing to do now. Talked to a known lawyer and he told me SGVO never encash DD rather it will be fwd to Canada so for tracking purpose they asked applicants to write their own name and file number..but many are missing like you and me...in that case they used to write on the back of DD. Double payment might not be required as if they don't want to write they'll send back to us and ask the same to write and re-send. So don't worry. Pray to almighty allah so that nothing goes wrong and better not to communicate this silly thing over mail.

Don't worry about it because when they open your application then they find your bank draft carefully and mentioned your file number and name. So, I strongly say don't worry about it.

Many people have got their IP with Medical Received even after doing Med after me ;D . I wonder when my one would be changing...seems my case is always late to update with status...again Finger Crossed... :-X

Pls advise me. I applied through consultant and done medical on 30.06.2012, today my consultant asked to submit all passport to him, I asked why? He replied, if PPR comes thn all passport would have to be sent to SGVO by attesting through Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Now my question is if I handover the passport to my consultant, can he black mail me? I did not pay his dues (charges) yet. Is there any option at this stage to submit passport by myself? Pls suggest.

Dear MSKC,.

If your consultant is a registered one and you have signed the representative form you MUST submit passport to him/hear and it is safe. But, if you have a local rep who is not registered he/she may blackmail you if you do not pay their fees had you signed rep form appointing him/her as unpaid rep.

Some non-registered consultants do not use rep form rather prepare files as though the applicants doing themselves may use their mailing addresses so that applicants are somehow bound with them.

If you have signed the rep form you cannot send passport yourself unless you cancel the appointment of representative which you can do any time during the processing of your file. However, at the end of the process if you cancel your rep agreement it will be rather unethical.
