Hi Everyone,
I will appreciate my fellow knowledgeable countrymen offer some tips/ suggestion etc on the way I have chosen to study and immigrate in Canada. Although my apply time can be atleast 2 and half years away, i hope my MBA degree from Canada by 2014 and previous work experience from USA as a financial analyst and to be archived work experience in Canada will help me.
My Plan:
I am trying to get admitted in the Winter 2013 session in University of Regina or Waterloo, since there are very few offering admission in January ( may transfer to a better uni later on, like Ryerson). I hope to get the part time work authorization after 6 months and hopefully get a job related to skill A (Professionals). And after graduation, i will have a 3 year work permit, i think that is more than enough time for me to find a job, specially with previous work experience (6 months contract) in USA at J P Morgan Chase, with a promotion in that time frame.
And Then I am planning to apply under arranged employment, Skill type A = 1 = Financial Analyst/Accountants, etc.
The part time work authorization, which include off campus employment (not possible in USA) and 3 years work permit which is much better compared to 1 year permit in USA for business graduates is the reason why I am Choosing Canada over USA for my MBA.
Do you guys think I am on the right path?
Or am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks.
Fahad
