Hi all, Its good to see so many Bangladeshi people in this forum.I'm new to this forum. I have been reading your case stories since a long period. This is really a good place to share the experience and minimize tension. lol........

I got the following case status from cic website

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 14, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 29, 2010."

My NOC 0111 & i already sent my complete documents with IELTS on Oct 4,2010

Now can anyone tell me whats the next step and how many months could it take for the next step? I have another query. How they perform background check?

So many questions.......lol... but I hope someone will enlighten me.

Hi Jnathan,
Normally it will take 2 weeks to get medical request. in my case my status has changed "Received by visa office" to " In process" in 16th August and I got medical Request on 30th August.

Hi goal,

Did u get ur letter from Visa office as CA Embassy, Dhaka told us in time of submition of our Passport that - you will get a registered letter from VO after 6-8 weeks(from the submission of PP) and then u will
come to receive ur PP from CA Embasssy, Dhaka.

it seems you got a quick response from the visa office then. you received med. request only in two weeks.! please pray for us so that it happens for our cases too. by the way, do they send med. req. in registered mail or a general mail? dear brother, your experience- sharing may do a lot for us.
