Hello all,

Can anyone tell me how much time it takes from the "application filed date" to "receive the application in BD (Dhaka bashi to be specific)" if an application is returned due to cap reached? I filed my application on December 14, 2011 under NOC 2121 and guessing by the posts in this forum that the cap was reached by mid-October. Planning to apply again next July if eligibility remains same. Feeling kinda worried whether I will get the application package back before that! Anyone in BD who got back the application due to cap reached previously, any input will be greatly appreciated!

Atlast today ( Jan 03, 2012 ) I received my return document with all attachmnet ( NOC 1122 ) , CIO was return on 12th Oct, 2011 due to CAP reach . They opend my application and given a file number . Does it mean that they store my all data for future reference ? If I next apply then it will be my UCI number as new Generic form ?

I got the email on returning my application for this NOC-1122 against my inquiry about it. They mentioned the returning date as 12-10-2011. I could reach there on 3-8-2011.

Seeing your note, I can expect to get that package in my hand soon, inshallah.

Well, what are you planning now? I am preparing for this July. Started learning French also.

Dear experts,

One of my friends have got email for update request from SGVO. He submitted his full dox in June, 2010 but his IELTS exam was in November 2009 (More than two years ago). I believe he does not need further IELTS as VO received his IELTS result just after 7/8 months from he obtained result. Still we wonder to know some experts' view.

Please advise.

hi deba No need to take any new Ielts . I had make query at SVO regarding validity of ielts and got confirmation That after app any time can be IELTS take and it will be valid when Vo will ask for submit . Besides we submitted our result more than 2 years back

I made general query on 13-December-2011 and then case specific query on 28-Dec-2011. I got same reply for both my queries 9ie, two replies) on 29-Dec-2011 as..'Dear sir, Your file is still pending review. Please wait to hear from us'.

I think, you will get the same reply.
Do you have a paper file number (Bxxxxxxxxx) assigned by SVGO? there is possibilities that, files are processed according to this serial, not by application file number, assigned by CIC, Nova Scotia. My last 4 digit is 3683, that reflects file serial. I know guy who filed application to CIC after me, file transferred to SVGO on same date (24-March-2011), but got paper file serial between 86 and got maple leaf visa.
Check your 'B' file number with me and we may get some clue for delaying our cases.
Please update us if any change in your status happens.

If you can manage enough time to read this forum to communicate with members, I believe you need not to go to a consultant. However, ILCB is a prominent agency, so far. Its in Banani. Sorry, I don't have much more idea about agencies.

It is better is you could do yourself but you need to study well first. Please got through the immigration guide. If you think you need help then go to a Canadian lawyer instead of a consultant. Check under which category you wish to apply and what are the requirements. A covering letter from a Canadian lawyer is much better than a consultant. In this forum you will fine lot of information.

Don't go to any agency and wast a bulk amount of money. Most of them are not expert and unable to give right information/suggestion. Read posting and communicate with senior members, I believe you can submit your file by yourself.

How long does CIO take to reply to initial email enquiry? Is it within 1-2 working days or they take longer?
