damn, seriously?vfs told me during submission 2 weeks!,Same here. They say it may take as long as 1 month. I guess have to cancel the tour which was scheduled later this month.
If they tell you so than it should be 2 weeks. I just got the PPR and haven't submitted passports yet. But I have seen someone in this group for whom it took more than a month. Anyway, at this stage Canada is bigger than any conference, right? So stop worrying about it. When did you submit?damn, seriously?vfs told me during submission 2 weeks!,

replied check inboxNeed help! Could anyone who has submitted passport recently please tell me what documents need to be submitted to the VFS (apart from passports, photos, PPR letter and attached annex)? Do I need to submit my older passports also? Do all my dependents (wife and kids) have to be present during submission? And finally how much fee to pay?
I saw my PPR on Thursday evening and I could not call them because of the weekend. I plan to submit tomorrow, so the info would be much helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Congrats!!!At last got my PPR. I remember I anticipated our PPR back in June and July. Eventually great to have it. Thank you all. Wish you all a speedy PPR. Never lose hope. There are snow and mapple leaves at the end of the tunnel!
From bangladesh, you can take 5000USD or equivalent other currencies cash with an adult passport. people do take more as most of the time there is no checks or body search.but there are instances where u can be searched or they can ask you whats that envelope or package in your hand luggage as that will be scanned. canadian port of entry max cash you can take is 10,000CAD.if you are planning to take that much cash plz do have all receipts, bank statement and money exchange receipts to prove the ownership of the funds as canadian customs will ask for those. otherwise it can be seized.there is details on cic website regarding customs, cash carrying during canadian immigration/port of entry.read that thoroughly.Bangladeshi banks does sell CAD.try stanchart, brac, cityCan any one tell me how much money (maximum) can one person endorse from bank with the PR visa, and what form can they take that money, (Cash, TC, etc.). Also does the banks in Bangladesh sell CAD, or I have to take USD?
Just one correction. there is no maximum allowable amount in Canadian port of entry. But, if it is more than 10,000CAD, then you have to declare it on the immigration form. That's all. They will not ask for any receipts, bank statements etc. I am telling this from my personal experience. From bangladesh, you can take 5000USD or equivalent other currencies cash with an adult passport. people do take more as most of the time there is no checks or body search.but there are instances where u can be searched or they can ask you whats that envelope or package in your hand luggage as that will be scanned. canadian port of entry max cash you can take is 10,000CAD.if you are planning to take that much cash plz do have all receipts, bank statement and money exchange receipts to prove the ownership of the funds as canadian customs will ask for those. otherwise it can be seized.there is details on cic website regarding customs, cash carrying during canadian immigration/port of entry.read that thoroughly.Bangladeshi banks does sell CAD.try stanchart, brac, city
Bhaia, while filing for EE I realized Canada discourages notarized copy (it's an Australian thing, I guess), and you SHOULD NOT upload anything but the colored scan copy of both sides of you PCC while it comes to uploading PCC.Vi,
The guideline just mentioned to provide the Birth Certificate but they did not mention about notarizing the certificate.
Regarding Bank Letter, i will try my best to follow your guideline which notarize it to stay at the safe side.
What about police clearance certificate? What is the best time to do go for PCC? Do i need to notarize it as well?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you very much for your valuable time and your kind cooperation
