hello,
i m a new member.my husband is principal applicant.we applied on 13th february,2010 and got a letter to send our all document on 28th march 2010.we send the documents on 8th may,2010.since 28th feb 2011 the cic website is showing "in process" but we didnt get any letter yet.5 month have been passed. i m so anxious.could anyone tell me what should i do?

Received our passport and COPR yesterday. But SGVO didnt return any of my submitted documents including original experience certicficates, IELTS etc!!!

Any thoughts and suggestion?

hi, does any one know about traveler's medical insurance? someone told me that it would be cheaper if could buy it from dhaka. is it possible? as i have two kids i don't want to take the risk of remained uninsured form three month. thanks

i do not think they are going to give it to u till u settle in Canada. as far as I know, u have to apply to get the documents after ur arrival in canada. this is some kind of security issue or something like that. i remember someone saying something like this.!! but again, there's no reference.

Guys,

Hasib bhai already confirmed me once, but i want a reassurance from him and other members about the validity of the PCC. I was asked to submit the pcc to SGVO. Now, here is the situation:

FBI clearance dated April 11 2011 [3 months 7 days old if we consider the letter date on MR & RPRF letter ]
My local Police clearance March 23 2011 [3 months 25 days old if we consider the letter date on MR & RPRF letter ]
My wife's Police clearance April 17 2011 [3 months 01 days old if we consider the letter date on MR & RPRF letter ]

Will this be fine? There is no validity time period mentioned in the mail. Also, by local PCC (Bangladesh) do we mean the yellow color one page certificate we received after we apply to DMC? Just that one page for each person?

About PNWS, i was not asked for it. However, most of the candidate saying that they were asked for it. Am i an exception or i am just missing it somehwhere! I am looking at CASE STATUS/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED page where it says ONLY THOSE ITEMS MARKED WITH AND "TICK" ARE APPLICABLE TO YOUR CASE:.... and after that it just talks about pcc. nothing about PNWS. Can any one clarify?

I am just being really cautious about it. Thanks for your input.

I think PCC is ok. as far as i know, there's a minimum 12 months validity period for PCC.

PNWS is not mandatory,, only provide those that are asked for.

and about the DMP PCC i'm not sure. haven't gone there yet !!! ;D

most probably they will bound you to change present address in the passport. ghus dile jhamela now korte pare.

Now to all seniors, me my husband and my son (7 years) all r holding manual passport. I am going to set for the IELTS exam on 25th August( InshaAllah) and after getting my IELTS result i will apply for FSW1, other all the documents almost gathered. so now please suggest me, is it ok with the manual passport or i have to get a MRP( machine readable passport).
my passport valid for 2017, my husbands passport valid for 2015 and my son untill 2012.

good experience to share,I didn't received 2nd aor though rbvo from 4th june,at last I did case sp inq bt no reply from them.Bt Dr.Hasib adviced me to make general inquiry to Singapore vo,and it worked they replied within 1 working day!!!told my file is pending review,bt great news is that I got my new file no with B0xxxxx.. at least they didn't lost my file hahahah
