Actually they are not taking risks and this is a popular game playing by some consulting firms. If someone's occupation does not come in the new list they will offer him to process to different countries (Denmark/NZ/AUS/UK/....). If a client make payment of file opening fees, they will continuously offer him/her alternate paths instead of refund the money the have already paid.
cunning business gimmick ! be aware of them!

thanks a lot ,prince 56k

CANADA’S 2011 IMMIGRATION QUOTA IS 240,000 TO 265,000
An immigration quota for 2011 has been finalized. In the wake of the continuing economic downturn countries are looking to reduce their immigration quotas for 2011. Canada on the other hand has been fortunate not to be in a severe economic downturn is looking at immigration to continue to sustain its economic recovery and boost up its workforce.

Canada’s 2011 immigration quota is 240,000 to 265,000 and 60% of these immigrants are expected to come from the economic stream (federal skilled worker program and provincial immigration programs). In 2011, government of Canada wants to balance the number of immigrants between Federal and provincial programs to fulfill the work force needs of both national and regional markets.

I've landed in Toronto on friday. I'll share my landing experience a little bit. After landing at the airport the immigration process was really smooth; only took 5 minutes. They only saw my passports and COPR. They asked me if I had any address and how much I'm bringing. That's it. I didn't have to decare anything about goods and stuff. In toronto I've got a one bedroom apartment for CAD 860. I got a SIM by Chat-r for unlimited use for a month for only CAD 35 and internet by Wind for only CAD 30 for unlimited use. If anybody have any questions that I might know it will be convenient for me to see the inbox. This forum was very helpful to all of us and I appreciate a lot to the members who are putting a lot of time and energy to help each other out. Wish you all hear good news soon.

Congrats Dr. Ray!!

Dear cool_man,
The email address you used is for general enquiry...
You need to send Case specific enquiry using the following online webform:

cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/singapore.asp

Yes Hasib vai, i have used the link and the form provided by SGVO instead of the email address directly. Thanks.
