GMAT? That is not a requirement for a Canadian university. That is for USA.

Bhaiya, most good Canadian Business Schools ask for GMAT. Its a must to get admission in masters or PhD level.

Hi Apu,

If Allah allow us, my spouse will do 6~12 months study (CA Grts or Diploma) start from beginning. After completion will find job. Till then I will be here in BD and support her from every aspect.

For your idea, I think GMAT will not help you rather you can find the better subject relate your work field where you can get study as study cost will be same as domestic student. So don't miss out if you want.

As I mentioned yesterday that we can change our PLAN but not GOAL so keep it up and will achieve our GOAL in one day....

Bhaiya, actually i have always been interested to have a foreign degree, to be more specific PhD followed by masters. Without GMAT, good business schools do not accept application.

Bro, everything is possible for SGVO. They dont believe only on our provided documents. Thats why they compare it with social networks.

They checked my friend list in FB and didnt find my spouse name. Though my relationship status is private.
Thats why they asked proof of relationship

Now, I am waiting to hear their decision :'(

I don't think so that your assumption is correct! How did you confirm that they have checked your FB? And you did not mentioned that FB is written in GCMS? As I do believe FB never be a judgement criteria for immigration purpose. In your case there might be some other reason e.g. authenticity of docs. etc.

This is actually wrong in so many ways. They can be curious and search for a person but the thing that they mention it as a note in the immigration system is very peculiar and weird.
Profiles can be fabricated,hidden from public or unused and using information based on that to immigration process doesn't feel right.

You had 2 more options other than sending Nikah nama with correction -
1. Add spouse to your friend list and send the screen shot of request confirmation page to SGVO.
2. On the other hand, explain with a letter to SGVO that you are unwilling to continue friendship with your spouse as she has become your SPOUSE. So she is not in your friend list.

Just kidding ;D – but answer to them must be the way as their work patterns are

Now a days it is very popular to get info for any employee info from Facebook, which is most popular online destination for employers to check out candidates, followed by LinkedIn and MySpace.

Not only from employments history check by VO, it is also done any MNC even we are also doing for any recruitment process for our company.

So it is common now in everywhere.

Mainly looking for during background check as simple

There are several different checks. Criminal check deals with verifying if person has any criminal record and it is basically covered by police certificates. Background check mainly verifies education and experience credentials.

Then there is background/security check which is conducted completely outside of and independently from Canadian immigration by Canadian intelligence and security agencies, with and/or without cooperation of proper authorities in all countries applicant resided since age 18 (for some nationals since age 16). It looks into applicant's background, activities, associations, etc. to determine if person was and/or is involved in any espionage, terrorism, organized crime, radical groups, crimes against humanity, etc. - how it is done and what is found is classified and CIC only receives "positive" or "negative" decision.

When it is required for employment reference check, they used to do site visit or calling former or current bosses, or any people you list as a character reference, even they can check Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc in the social media..

Nothing to say bro.. It should be written in CIC check list that applicant should have public profile in FB and LinkedIn...

I think they are looking for it because of single marriage life(specially BD people)
