Dear All,

Finally i am going to Singapore to collect my Visa on next week. Already who have been in Singapore please suggest me about things to take with me for the visa office. I would be glad if you kindly give me any more suggestions like accommodation, food, place to visit etc. I appreciate your support and please pray for me for this journey. I am kind of in a tight schedule so need to get the passport back within three working days. Otherwise it could be a big big problem for me.....

Great news, CONGRATULATIONS Tokon Bhai! If you can leave your passport for about one month, u can submit it to VFS. But if there is any urgency for going out with other purposes, u must go in person and collect it in 3 working days.

With due respect i would like to tell miss ruparupa that there are many things that we dont understand. Please dont take it otherwise. There are several reasons to go Singapore for collecting the visa and you just mention one which is a luxury. But people had many other important reason that someone might not understand. What i believe that dont think those how are going to Singapore to collect the visa are wasting there money. I hope you all the best and please include our name in your prayer so that those how are going to Singapore can came back in BD with a big smile in the face.....

No offence to you Roozbeh or to anyone else going to S'pore for PR visa!! Of course there might be many reasons for an individual to visit Singapore! Those are individual reasons. But when someone asks "which is the better way to submit PP? Through VFS or in person?" I simply don't get the better implication of submitting PP in person other than that you get your PP stamped within 3 working days which is of course quicker than submitting through VFS. But what else? Please don't take it otherwise! You are repititively saying there are several reasons. Um asking just out of my curiousity, what actually are those reasons?

Of course we'll keep in touch Inshallah! I strongly believe u'll get your visa before Oct 5th! Have a nice & safe journey to S'pore, then to UK & then to Canada!!!!!

In my opinion:
1. We are waiting for this (MR/PPR) since 2010.
2. We are planning to settle down in Canada (General Interest, exceptions not mentioned)
3. If we send through VFS, it will take approx 1-2 months
4. Will take another 1 Month to Purchase Ticket (Subject to availability and Will charge more if you are looking for a nearest date)
5. If you can reach there ASAP you might have a good chance to get a job coz in winter jobs are available due to rough weather, in summer you better ready for a challenge as students will also searching for jobs.
6. As we are planning to settle down there (Canada) we need to face the challenge at earliest and prepare ourself accordingly.
7. If we submit Passport in person we can at least save or ahead of 2-4 months

So in my very personal opinion, those who wants to reach Canada soon please submit in person. Though it will cost you some money but you can earn it in dollars if you reach earlier. Tk 83.90 = 1 Cad today

End of the day decisions is only yours, listen to all but decide by yourself. Please don't misinterpret or misunderstand the whole issue. It's my personal evaluation of this scenario, nothing else
