Hi,
I have been following topics on this forum for a while. I have a strange situation now and wondering if anyone will have any useful information regarding the same. My details are given below. I have received medical request and will be completing the same by next week ( 25th Feb). I am in a dilemma as to when I should send my passport. I have to travel with my family out of the country on Mar 25th on an official trip and I cannot postpone the same for various reasons. If I send my passport now and it gets stuck in the CHC, then i will miss my trip. Does anyone know of a similiar situation where people have asked for extension for submitting passports ? If yes, how do we send it - Can we send a mail and expect a reply from CHC new Delhi soon ? Alternatively, would personally going to CHC New Delhi and informing them of the situation help ?

Personally going there will not help and will not suggest you to do it. Well if you ask them to stamp soon it will not work. Only thing which can work is that you can mail them and ask for more time to submit passport and give them the reason that you have to travel abroad. I do not know whether they will give you extension or not. Let others also comment on it and see what other forum member have to say. But it will delay your case.KRRS said:

Can someone let me know if the RRPF has to be paid in INR to CHC New Delhi Or can it be paid in Canadian Dollars ? If in INR , what is the conversion rate for C$490 and in whose name it has to be paid ?
