Hi, i think you should contact WES. It is not common for WES to verify from your institute.

Hi does anyone have an idea how WES assesses the diploma and transcripts?do they have a list of accredited universities/colleges/institution? What happens next if your educational credentials are not recognized?

ECA Suggestion to All (WES):

Before submitting your application for ECA through WES please verify your university/institution is in the WES list or not.
if not means you will get the institution status as "Non-Recognized" in the report & Canada never consider your credential from non-recognized institution and we cannot claim points with the same.

WES Report Missing ECA Number

Hi,
I received my WES report on SEP 2014, as I was filling in my express entry profile the ECA number was required but the report I have from WES only lists the Ref # on each page of the report. Can I use the Ref# for the ECA number or did WES make a mistake and not provide me with the ECA number.

Note: My wife's WES report received on Dec 2014 contains the ECA number.

Found the note below on the CIC website (cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp) I will use the reference number for now and continue to follow-up with WES about the ECA number.

Note: You will have to provide the reference number from the report in your Express Entry profile, as well as your application for permanent residence (along with proof of your foreign credential). If we cannot validate the number you enter, we will need you to provide an electronic copy to confirm. Keep a copy in case we need to see it.

You will need a WES Canada I'm afraid. Maybe WES directly offers you the possibility to upgrade.

Dear friends,
I did bachelors mechanical engineering 4 years in anna university Chennai, simultaneously I did BBA and MBA in Alagappa University through distance education.
B.E - 2002-2006 regular
BBA - 2002-2005 distance
MBA - 2005-2007 distance . I used my B.E degree for WES evaluation and it is four years Canadian equivalency. I didn't show distance education.
For express entry I would like to boost my point through masters.so if I send for assessment once again to wes they consider these all degrees in one application ? how the result will come either its masters or they only consider regular degree only. Distance education university accredited by UGC, recognized by tamilnadu govt.

If you want to claim spouse ECA point then WES assessment is must.

hi all

I have a query regarding WES report which am waiting for...
I made a payment on January 1st and it was yesterday when I received a status"completed" on My Account on WES.org..
But I didn't receive any mail saying my report is been sent and I guess I receive a certification number on the mail to use it ,
even if there is a bit delay in arrival of my hard copy..

So will there be a mail soon or should I write in to WES asking them the status of my reports..

after status is changed to completed, next day (24 hrs) you can see your dispatch details (tracking number)
