Suppose, if you don' t get a job through pool or job bank, then what is net? and how to proceed the process? Also if you don' t have LMIA certificate, you will not get 600 points additional. Pl. advice.

If you don't have an LMIA supported job, you won't get those 600 points. Then your options are to either get a provincial nomination (PNP) or increase your score as much as possible and wait for the cutoff to drop so that you can get a 'regular' ITA.

Hi friends,

I've been working in Alberta for 6 months in finance. I've created my profile for express entry 2 days ago. I am eligible to apply but I realized that my work permit does not have a Labour Market Impact Assessment. This is the only problem that I have for my application.

I have mainly two options:
1- Talking with my employer to get positive LMIA in addition to my Intercompany Transfer Visa.
or
2- Talking with my employer to get support for my provincial nomination.

I do not know if anyone experienced the same problem under express entry. I would be glad if you have any recommendations. I guess LMIA will be processed shortly compared to nomination.

Hi.

Has anybody experienced glitches in their ITA? I know of someone who got an invite and the cut off is 469. And In the invite his points show as 462 Not including the wife's ECA and IELTS. Where as they show as 472 something in the express entry profile including the spouse ECA and IELTS.

Not sure as to how to proceed. Should accept the invite or not?

A Labour Market Impact Assessment/Provincial Nomination will give you an additional 600 points. It is not necessary to have either to continue your Express Entry application. If your points are very low, it would be an advantage to have an LMIA/PNP.

Try it with Experience 2 or 3 years and u ll know why is it so.

You still need to meet FSWP criteria.
I do not know what exactly is wrong with your profile, and that was just one of a few things you can do to check it and narrow down the problem.
