Hi,

I need some clarification regarding 'Proof Of Funds'.My dad is willing to give me $ 21,000 as a gift ;D .I do not have any obligation to return the money back to him. I plan to put it into a Fixed Deposit under my name.

Will this be considerd as ''borrowed'' money ? Will I have to produce any document stating that this is a gift and not a loan ?

Will a Fixed Deposit be considered as a proof ?

Hi Aspirants,

Please help me out with this dilemma...

I have total work ex of 4 years (NOC 6221, 7 months, Company A.... NOC 6231, 23 months, Company B... NOC 6221 again, 18 months, Company C) in India, all continuous.

I want to know, can I show all of this as a total work ex of four years...??.. Because, I read somewhere that all work ex should be in the same NOC... I have it in 2 NOCs.

So, for how many years am I gonna get credit for while making EE profile, how would this effect my CRS score, transferability, etc. .....??

Would appreciate any guidance please..

There is a blue "continue" button on the bottom of the page. It only appears if all questionnaire sections have the "completed" status next to it. None of them can be marked as "In progress".

After you click on continue, you will be taken to the document checklist where you must upload the documents.

Thanks a ton @dan_and! ot it. I did as suggested and got it. However, earlier the checklist had an option to upload additional documents with letter of explanation. This option doesn't appear after i made a few changes in my profile and completed it again. I wanted to upload docs for educational activity and jobs mentioned in personal history which I haven't claimed points for , this would definitely make the process smoother and wouldn't have them coming back to me . What must I do? Please suggest! Any advice is appreciated. Thanks a ton!

You don't need to provide any proof during initial stage while your create your profile.. but to be eligible, you need to provide available fund amount you could bring to Canada in your profile .. Required fund depends on the number of accompanying family membesr which you can get from following link.. In later stages you need to provide Bank certificates as proof of fund.. It is advised by many that the money should be in bank for more than 6 months although I didn't find any official information about 6 months requirement..

What is the status of ur profile? Did you check for messages in your CIC account?

If you are having problem with No message and No Job Seeker Validation code after submitting your EE profile, please try this workaround..

The reason officer told that after getting married he needs to have new passport with his spouse name
On last page.
He is depedent in the application.
Is it true all the married applicants need to have new passport?

Thats not right. One needs only a marriage certificate and inclusion of spouse in Passport in not mandatory AFAIK.

Hi Friends,

An urgent query regarding PCC.

I had stayed in a foreign country from Jan-Jul 2012 & I know I will need to produce the PCC from that country. I had obtained a PCC from the country in Sep-14 for FSWP-14 (cap reached) and the validity date is Sep-15. Can I provide the same PCC in my EE application now or will I need to obtain it again? I received ITA last week. Please advise. Is there a way I can pose this question to CIC?
