Are you sure you completed and submitted the profile? Also, does it say that you qualify to apply under the express entry?

A little advice guys! RELAX! 8) It looks like some people are in a panic to apply to EE remember it is a new system and this is the first time it is in real world use so there might be technical/practical issues they are trying to work out. If you are having difficulty I am sure things will become more clear in the next week or so.
There is no advantage in applying early in EE it all depends on your points during the draw! Best of luck to all!!

Hello All

I have filled myCIC profile and submitted it. I got a mail today saying that my profile is ineligible. I don't understand why. I did my questionaire and was eligible at that time.

Please help me what to do.

Mail I got is below:
You are not eligible for Express Entry
To qualify for Express Entry, you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the Federal Skilled Worker
Program, and/or the Federal Skilled Trades Program and/or the Canadian Experience Class. Based on your
profile, you do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria for any of these programs. Reasons you would not be
eligible for Express Entry include:
• not having a valid language test
• language test results that are more than two years old
• a language test score that is too low
• not having enough relevant work experience
• not having the required education level
• not having enough funds
If you still want to come to Canada as a skilled immigrant, you can take steps to improve your qualifications and
register for Express Entry at a later date. For example, you may try to improve your language score or gain a
higher level of education.
You can also apply directly to a province or territory through the

I applied FSW 1 month ago but I haven't got the UCI.
So I was asked ever applied Canadian..... I chose YES and I was asked UCI. If I skip here, it is not completed.

If you qualify under CEC pool then you might not need to be in the job bank. Check what it says in your express entry profile under the job bank (the same page where it say you qualify under CEC). If it says "pending" then you will need it. If it says "not applicable" then you won't need it.

If you don't have UCI say NO.
You don't know if your application will reach CIC and will be found eligible.
I thing someone called CIC and wrote that you should say NO.
Check several pages back.

I think you are short somewhere. you should have 67 points like before then only you can join the pool.
Can you share your ILETS score, work exp and age points etc?

Core2 said:
6 band(7CLB) in each is must. But you have to make sure that you still achieve 67 points if you don't have job offer otherwise, you wont be able to enter into the pool.

While counting eligibility points they still using old point system. So people with high score will have no issues but if your eligibility result is "Profile Ineligible" then watch out for these 67 point thing >:(

To qualify for Express Entry, you must meet the eligibility criteria for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and/or the Federal Skilled Trades Program and/or the Canadian Experience Class.
For Federal Skilled Worker Program, we use a grid of 100 points to assess how well an applicant will adapt to Canada's labour market. The grid looks at factors such as:
• education,
• work experience,
• qualifying job offer in Canada and
• English or French skills.
Applicants must meet the pass mark of 67 out of 100 points.

Best of luck

:) thanks
