Dear experts,
I am a software professional and could not get into FSW 2014.
I am looking forward for express entry. But it appears it is going to be very tough.

1) Do we need to find a job offer before we apply in the new system ?
2) Is there any chance of me getting through :
IELTS SCORE : S-6.5,W-7,L-8,R-9
Education : B-TECH - Obtained ECA from WES as a four year equivalent degree
Work exp :7 years
Age : 29
Spouse IELTS :S-6,W-6,L-6,R-6.
How much points will I get ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Looking at your age, experience and ielts score (your spouse's score too), it seems 100% you will make it in EE. I see you at the top. All the best!

To put it in an easy way, is the Express Entry exclusively for Skilled Workers? Why there were a PNP portions? And I have read an article like this:

9. What is the process for potential candidates who want to use both a Provincial Nominee Program and Express Entry?
There are two ways to do this. A person can:
•apply to the PNP first, get a nomination and then fill out an Express Entry profile; or
•fill out the Express Entry profile first. Provinces and territories can then search the Express Entry pool and ask a candidate to apply for their PNP. When the candidate gets a nomination certificate, they will update their Express Entry profile.

In either case, once a person updates their Express Entry profile to show they have a provincial or territorial nomination certificate, they will be given enough additional points to be invited to apply at the next eligible draw of candidates.

@ Susana, thanks for the reply, could you please elaborate on that? A link maybe?

I work as a Civil Engineer in the USA, registered engineer, and I am kind of lost with what I found in the gazette last night in terms of work experience. The main reason is that I do have years of experience bit my IELTS is CLB 9 for 3 skills and CLB 8 for one, and out of this I loose 50 points.

Thanks again

I am still to figure out how Express Entry would work. Anyhow, any comments on my profile vis-a-vis Express Entry ? A brief about me:

1. 5+ years of work experience as a Specialist Pediatrician
2. MBBS, MD post grad from one of the top most Institute in India
3. 1 1/2 year work + training experience in Canada .
4 IELTS score Overall 8.5
5. 34 years of age
6. Married
7. 1 yr Son Born in Canada /Canadian
8. Permanant Job offered in Saskatchewan as a Pediatrician with LMIA positive from 2015 October (400k salary)

Requesting someone to comment on my chances via Express Entry program 2015.
Should i wait for Express entry (worried if i will make the points) or should i go ahead and right away apply for Canada Experience Class on my current experience
or apply for Provincial Nominee Program.
How many points would i score .Can someone Calculate and whats the minimum i would need .

Please help
Regards,
