If there is anyone whose appeal is being allowed and the case is being or was processed in CPP-Ottawa please share your timeline here. I havent seen much of such cases maybe this topic will bring us together and we can benefit from each others experiences. Thank you

To begin with I will post about my case timeline. Applied Jan 2009 through islamabad office. Interview Jan 2010. refusal letter sent October 2010.We appealed it and finally won appeal in May 2012. The reason for refusal was that our marriage was not registered in the country it took place. Since we were both foreigners we couldnot register it, so we registered it in pakistan.

In june 2012 they transferred our file to CPP-Ottawa. Husband recd an email from them in mid june informing that the file will be processed here. next day he got an email again to send some updated forms and passport pics. It was sent and recd by CPP a couple of days back. We believe passport pics were requested to issue remedical (pls correct if I am wrong). We just hope that now it doesnt take long after remedical as I suppose they do background check after that. Dont have any idea how long it takes to conduct BC from Ottawa.

If anyone has any info about it please post here. Today is our fourth anniversary :'(

Hey guys won my appeal nov 20 2013 cppo received my file on jan 14 2014 I've emailed them and its in a queue for review. I think the review is just to see if should be processed here in ottawa or to be sent back to visa office

I won my ADR on 1 Oct'2013 and 27 Nov'13, got the confimation that i won the ADR.

9 Dec'13, i receive the letter from CPP ottawa that i have to fill some form again with pcc and medical. sent all paper by 18 Dec'13, now again waiting for their response ...

refusal by visa office in Sydney, Australia

I made an email to CPP O and received a response on December 31, 2013 that our file has been forwarded to a visa officer for assessment and finalization. I heard it will be a 1-2 month wait for a assessment but some cases have been there for up to 11 months I heard so I have no idea
if anyone knows how long it might be please reply

Refusal at NDVO in March 2012. Appealed against the decision and Appeal Allowed in October 2012. File transferred back to NDVO in December 2012. Remedicals done, sent new application kits with PCC in March 2013 and waiting since.

That processing time sounds like it's for new applications...appeal cases that are won become priority, so it shouldn't be bound to the regular processing times, well, I would think!
