i came from my original country 3 years ago. i have not lived anywhere . i had only 3 jobs back home 2 was government job....references , paystubs, contacts has been attached. in canada i had only 1 company for 3 years now i have new LMIA with new company. to make my profile was like 15 mins to complete it . i didn't make ECA coz i had enough points (maybe thats the problem??) .... i don't know who has easier application LOL

Also got BC PNP EE for this job.............to assess my application I think they only need 5 min. But..... No update at all after submission for 2 weeks already...........

cherryyyyy - I think its not the question of spending time on your file. Its the time taken for file to move on various stages of immigration process.
For sure your application will be processed faster than others, I have seen people getting PPR in 4 weeks who have completed their bachelor's and masters from with in Canada.

I Just want to ask you guys if i can submit additional documents by myself to cic, i have a consultant and i think they dont know nothing!because before i send all my requirements i ask them to check my offer of employment if that is fine and have nothing to change they said it was ok, and now as i was reading all your post here i find my job offer in really bad situation.. The word permanent and full time are missing in my offer,, do you think i can submit a revise offer? Thank you

No update on either but got the PPR message on MyCIC earlier in the morning.

Timeline:

AOR: 10th April
Medical Passed: 12th May
Background check in progress: 12th May (same time as medical)
PPR: 8th July

No Additional documents were requested. I submitted by IELTS score in the initial application package as an additional document. Was not asked for the RCMP clearance either.

Applying from within Canada. Currently on a PGWP expiring in May 2016, working in Toronto.
