Lookslike CIC is busy publishing their Half-yearly success report on EE, and forgot our cases :o :o :o :o

It's been very dry weather across all the Countries and lookslike CIC has the same dry PPR conditions since the last three weeks. Hopefully the PPR drizzling might start soon and get intense and get all our PPRs.

Yeah they do seem to have ground to a halt. Hopefully it was partly because of Canada day last week, a lot of them probably took time off, maybe it will pick up again this week. Though we are coming in to holiday season too, gah >:(

I've been taking my passport, two photos and DHL fee to work everyday for the last 2 weeks :'(

Yeah, these guys should finally start looking at out files, cause this waiting is killing me :-\ 13 weeks as of today

in my last call to CIC, the agent told me that although my application had been approved, they were (and here I quote her words) "not ready yet to issue a PPR". Whatever that means... :|

Decision Made on my ECAS since June 26.

Ah, btw, the agent also said "it can take from 3 days to 3 months for the officer to issue the PPR" :'(

From my company two received their PR last week both of them submitted their application second half of March. Our time just around the corner

Some of us have been waiting at that corner for quite some time now... Hope CIC turns the corner soon! :D

The agent might be referring to the generalized statement, which might be meant for EE to Caregivers. I believe they cant say specifically for a category.

I have the same problem. My ecas is not accessible since medical passed on 21 apr to date. Am applying from outside canada n file was sent to ottawa for processing. Tried to contact cic via cse, still no remedy so far. I guess nothing to worry abt. U can try calling cic to check on yr file if u r in canada.

Considering other timelines I think we might have a decision by the end of August. It always depends on the case though, so we'll see. Some got the ppr without even change of the BG so it mostly depends how easy your application is.
