Pure FSW (no LMIA, PNP or CEC) folks outside Canada, did your background check start yet? ??? My last update was on May 5th and one of my FSW friend waited after Mecidal passed for 2 months and no updates.

Also I filed the EE Tracker here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IeR5iF7-R0aQ8IbgExLObajY8VajgzgIuyqOg0aEDus/edit#gid=924600149 And I appear to be the only early April applicant whose background check still didn't start :'(

Don't fret Variazioni - welcome to the gang!

no updates :( last time my ecas changed it was on a thursday around 11pm... there's still hope haha

No updates. *sigh*

Am I asking too much to hope for something, namely PPR, by the end of this month? I want to resign my job effective September 30 and fly to Toronto on October 7 and I want to give my boss two months notice at least.

Mine is updated today. BG is changed from not started to in process. It is the third week after my Medical passed.

No you're not.

Hello Folks,

I am awaiting for the next round of invitation and, I am an inland applicant.

Meanwhile, I was wondering how does the timeline go for AOR, Med Request, PCC? Because, I am expecting another draw this month and, I will be away for a month in July. During that time, I won't be able to reply/send any documents to CIC if they want. So, just want to know whether I should apply right away or I should wait until I come back.

Thank you.

It is really case by case. I heard people getting their PPR in ONE month and also people spending 2, 3 months still await. My advice is to keep your files in the cloud and send to them whenever requested. For my case, I was requested for language test transcript and RCMP criminal record check. If you want to be safe, get them scanned before you leave and check emails on your leave. Good luck.

Hi YamPower, our timelines are not too far apart... I am hoping for the same ::)
Can't wait to do the landing procedures and be able to live, cuz so far all this stress is being insane... I can't imagine how AOR Feb and Mar folks are feeling right now...

I keep on thinking that there must be some sort of order/pattern behind this mess. How could a process comes from very well known timelines (aka old PR process) to a extremely unpredictable process ???

That's what every guinea pig on the planet must think at least once in their lifetime, esantos! Now we know... ::)

My Timeline:

ITA: 20 March
APP: 39 March
AOR: 30 March
Medical: Passed 7th May
BG check: 11 May in Progress

My ECAS
3 Lines Application received.

No update since 11 May.

I called CIC today. The agent first asked my application date and category, then said that call if you don't get till September.
She was perhaps exhausted with similar calls

No updates for me either. It sucks to have to put your whole life on hold until you know whether you are staying or going. :'(

Quick question, has anyone received a PPR WITHOUT being asked for a Schedule A? Or is a Schedule crucial for Express entry.
