I am confused about ECAS statuses... I've seen some people saying that the order is as follow:
In Progress - Application Received - In Process

but mine is showing "In Process" even before Medicals passed in MyCIC... and the status is like this:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 28, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on March 5, 2015.

Note: Today MyCIC changed status of Medicals to passed and Bg Check to In Progress

Based on what you guys have seen, what is the right order on ECAS?

For what I've seen there is no "in progress" in ECAS.
When starting for me it showed "in process" and after the medical it changed to "application received"

For me it was 1 day after medical passed that the status in ECAS was updated

I don't think they are looking at the profile creation date. It is more important the date of when you received your ITA and submitted your documents, I believe.

The timelines are so different. Some people are getting medical passed with one day of submission and others take one month. :-\

It happens to those who have their medicals done 3-5 weeks prior to their application submission.

Not necessarily. A friend of mine did his medical on the same day that I did (April 14). He submitted on April 30 and on May 1 his medical status changed to Passed while mine hasn't budged.

Just received a request for more documents (for my CELPIP cert), and background check is now in progress.
Weirdly, my Medical is still listed as ''not needed at this time''. Dunno if anyone's had this happen and if so, what is your timeline is like?


Timeline so far:
March 5th: EE Profile Created
March 27th?: ITA Received
April 20th: Submitted App
April 21st: AOR
May 8th: Document Requested (CELPIP Cert)
May 8th: Background Check in progress

ITA Feb 27th
Application submitted Apr 15th
AOR Apr 16th

ECAS status changed from in process to application received May 7th
3rd line added (Medical received)

CEC ~850 points
No access to MyCIC (use of representative)

Hello Everyone ,
This is my time line :
ITA received March 27th ( FSW Program - I am working in canada for 10 months )
Medical Done March 30
Application Submitted April 23rd
AOR received April 23rd

- No updates

I have one worry ,
I have finished a Master Degree from Canada , my program officially is 2 years ( 4 semesters ) but I have finished in 3 full time semesters.

I have one worry which is in the EE profile they ask you if you have studied for two years , I replied yes because my program is a 2 years program.

In addition, when they ask you to enter the details of your education I wan't able to enter 1.5 as the duration of my studies.

Is anyone passing the same situation ? Does anyone know if this might be considered as a misrepresentation ?
Note: I was Invited to apply to FSWP so I didn't receive any points for the duration of the Master degree, I was awarded points for the degree it self.

In addition when I check my ECAS there are no sign to my PR application , is that normal ?

I know the feeling. Submitted my application on April 15, got the AOR about 3 minutes after submitting, and no progress since then. Mine's stuck on the Eligibilty Review- In Progess. Very worried as well since I did my medical on March 31st.
The only bit of good news, I think, is that the medical place I did the testing at will inform you if anything looks wrong or there's a problem with your tests before they submit it. Since it's been a month and I haven't heard from them, I'm pretty sure everything went well at the doctor's office.
I have to keep reminding myself that it's only been a little over 2 weeks and it might take 6 months for things to move forward. I think once the Eligibilty gets approved I'll feel better since it sounds like if you get past that point any documents that they need will be requested as opposed to just rejecting an application. I just hate waiting!

Medical received finally..3rd line in ECAS added to Application received from In Process..

It took exactly 1 mnth to update medical received..its automated or was updated today??

I understand it is late.because i applied along wth spouse under CEC with CRS score 1016.
