Four months have passed since AOR, 122 days and still counting. Is my waiting period the longest in this thread? :(

Tried my luck one more time this morning, called CIC to know the "Decision Made".

This time no struggle, one super nice gentleman who straight away said :
"PR application APPROVED on August 6, 2015"

He also mentioned the correspondence in regards to the decision may take from a few days up to a month to arrive.
But it doesn't matter, at least now I KNOW :D (but will feel even more real when I have it my hands, lol)

;D TOTAL RELIEF ! ;D
Congrats!

Nah! mine has been longer so far, AOR on April 8th. Frustrating, but there is no other way around it. Just keep yourself busy, I guess!

As I believe the government don't like temporary foreign workers (lmo holders), I think they will take their sweet time in my application.

After 3 months, the only update i have is medical passed.

Aor: 6 may
Medical: 2 weeks after aor
Eca: application received
Crs: 960
Federal trades

I have no more nails to bite from...

You're not alone Olivi0827.. 120 days since our AOR and 4 months since submission today. No updates and our ECAS is still 2 lines with 'Application Received'.

Just to chip in.

I think the visa office change thing is now faster and shouldnt cause a delay after gettting your ppr.

After getting PPR on Friday, I sent ottawa an email (e-mail written in the PPR letter) to change VO and I woke up on this morning with a new letter addressed to my Visa office in my yahoomail and also a CIC notification message (same ppr letter sent to my e-mail came in as a message in myCIC). So took my passport to work today and sent it off to local VO.

SHirebikes also reported a response of less than a week.

So I guess their TAT on this request is now faster.

Wish y'all the best with the PPR.

Ha come on , have some patience people!

CIC has said it will take 6 months they will do it in 6 months , people who submit paper based application wait for 16 to 20 months.
I have known people who have got rejected after 15 months wait time!

Even I have a paper application , just to get a AOR it took me a good 3 months !!

So this is express !!

AOR:20-Apr
Great. So we have only 5 more CEC people left without PPR as per KaydenB's spreadsheet. And their PPRs should be on their way as their Applications are in process

Ha ha ,.. I think its in jet speed when compared to paper application!!

Just to be clear I am not talking about how the system was in the past , I am talking about current processing time with respect to paper applications.

It took me a freaking 94 days just to get a Damn AOR !!
One of the person who submitted a PNP application like 15 months ago got rejected , with 2 months left on her Work permit !!

In fact I got a ITA in march at the same time I got a PNP nomination ,
my PNP selection office recommended me to go through the paper process , and not through express entry as its a very new system!!

He never me told about having multiple application in process , So I withdrew my ITA (as I also had some dumb mistakes in my profile)
How foolish of me , if I had submitted it by march I would have probably got the PR by now !!

instead I submitted my paper based application and guess what I got ,.. a AOR !!!

In the mean time I realized I can submit two applications side by side in different streams, submitted my EE application in july.
By the time my AOR came for PNP, my EE was already changed to background check in-progress !!

i agree its a little frustrating for those of us who were eligible for both but happened to get a fsw invite, all we can do is wait, wait and continuing waiting.
