Yes I can do that right now as its ready with me. Only they asked to upload.
You suggest to proceed by submitting?
Absolutely, send it as soon as possible! It sounds like they're saying that without the ECA your application will not be processed further. The wording sounds a bit harsh but don't be too concerned about that. The sooner they get it, the sooner they finish processing you.

How long one has to wait after Passed Medicals test for the next step? What is that step?
Next step is Background Check in Progress and schedule an interview (but interviews aren't required for most people). After that the visa office sends PPR (passport request so they can put the visa in it).

Variazoni, Pure FSW only started getting ITAs in mid to late March. So the first set of AORs for pure FSW would have to have come in April. I don't think that CIC have started issuing PPR to pure FSW. Hopefully when they start, there will be a rush of PPR. Having said that, our CEC and FSW counterparts in Canada who submitted in April and May are having their applications processed with lightning speed. I wonder why CIC is unwilling to touch the applications of those of us pure FSWs.

Perhaps it's a lot easier for cic to verify the authenticity of application for people already inside Canada. I understand cic probably consider giving PR to people with Canadian connection a more urgent task time wise currently. And indeed they deserve it more. Just wish somebody like us would bring good news soon these days. :(

I wish things were faster if you applied in Canada. I applied April 15th and nothing has moved for me. Still in the Review of Eligibility - In Progress. I had my medical done 3/31, but that hasn't changed to pass or fail, just says not needed. So, I feel for you!

Ash, it often takes 30-45 days for medical to pass. Since you applied inside Canada, as soon as medical gets passed, your background check will start instantly instead of waiting for more than a month like some of us! That's what we are really jealous of :-\

I do not agree with Singa. I have FSW ITA from within Canada and it is been quite a while and not a single update. Not even a medical update. I have seen applicants who have applied later than me within or outside Canada had progress.

I submitted my application on April 10th, medical passed on the 15th.

My background check still says Not Started.

I'm FSW and in Canada.

I'm not seeing any pattern on how they process the applications.

I wonder if they take into consideration Visa Waiver countries (who don't need the passport request from what I understand), or how with the US they have direct access to all the criminal databases.

I also wonder how much the assigned Case Processing Center affects things.
