RROC stands for Rapid Response Operations Centre, and it is a visa office that is responsible for processing applications from certain countries that are considered to be high-risk.

RROC has been experiencing a very high volume of applications in recent months, and this has led to delays in processing. As a result, many applications that are currently at RROC are still waiting for a final decision.

I understand that this is frustrating for you and for other applicants who are waiting for a decision. However, I can assure you that IRCC is working hard to process applications as quickly as possible.

I do not know why so many complete files have been transferred to RROC. However, I can speculate that it may be because RROC has more experience in processing applications from high-risk countries.

I think its purely random because I saw a candidate in threads who is from France but has RROC as VO. Well India can be risk country but even france?

You are correct. The decision of which visa office will process your application is made by IRCC, and it is not always based on the country of origin. There are a number of factors that IRCC considers when making this decision, including the volume of applications from a particular country, the complexity of the application, and the applicant's personal circumstances.

It is possible that the candidate you saw who is from France has RROC as their VO because their application is complex or because they have a personal history that makes them a higher risk. However, it is also possible that their application was randomly assigned to RROC.

What form are they asking? I think 'additional family information' is the form IMM5406 and it asks about your family: your spouse, parents, children, brothers/sisters.

Good Morning everyone. I really need your contribution and review on the gcms notes i received last week. @legalfalcon @Raptor33

i applied for visitors visa with my wife and son November 9 2022. Since the time we applied, nothing from them till May 18 2023. They said i should provide police certificate of my country (Nigeria and the United states). I did my masters in the united states and am back in my country to work. So i quickly went for my country certificate and did my finger prints and uploaded that one. i had to get a finger print card and put my finger print and sent it to the FBI in the united states for electronic summary reports. The first one i sent was not legible, i had to do another one and sent to the united states again, then that one shows no record of crime or conviction. i uploaded it immediately and it has been showing they are reviewing it since june 26th. i ordered gcms notes for me and my wife .https://ibb.co/yfZXTfq and this https://ibb.co/cktC0Vd for my assessment which says eligibility and criminality passed .Also my spouse own https://ibb.co/vkV7ZrX and this https://ibb.co/LdzWYhy. All eligibility shows passed and uptil now i didnt hear anything on decision. i also guided someone this month 3rd of august and they are approved 17th of august. i will be happy if you can analyze the gcms note please. thank you for your time everyone

I would recommend that you be patient and wait for the visa officer to make a decision. If you haven't heard anything by the end of September, you can contact the IRCC to inquire about the status of your application.

Here are some other things you can do to improve your chances of getting a visa:

• Make sure that all of the information in your application is complete and accurate.
• Provide the visa officer with any additional information that they may need, such as copies of your employment and financial records.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. If you could see the links i sent. for my wife, at the protected b which shows approved /pending item or assessment for another member in the group. This was update 17th of May 2023. They sent me request letter May 18th for the police certificate . And also it was in the note that the refers note which i inserted in the link shows no criminal record. Also have uploaded my united states visa when i got it this january on the webform. I also uploaded my promotion letter at work this April. i will be patient as you have said and hope for the best. But what is the approved in my wifes gcms notes means.

The "approved /pending item or assessment for another member in the group" in your wife's GCMS notes means that the visa officer has approved the application of another person in your group, such as your child. This does not necessarily mean that your wife's application has also been approved. The visa officer may still be waiting for additional information or may be conducting further security checks.

The fact that the visa officer has asked for your FBI background check to be processed suggests that they are still considering your application. The processing time for FBI background checks can vary, but it can take several weeks or even months. Once the background check is processed, the visa officer will make a decision on your application.

Hi everybody,
I am an FSW-outland candidate with March 29th 2023 AOR.
I requested my GCMS notes from ATIP on June 22, but until now I haven't received them (It'll be three months next week).
I called IRCC a couple of weeks ago and the agent confirmed that my note request appeared on my file.
Does anybody know why it takes all that time to deliver the GCMS notes?
