@legalfalcon

Thanks for your answer. I already passed my medicals so I believe I already passed my R10. I will wait a couple of months to ask for my notes. Thank you for your time, your explanation of the process is really clear and helpful.

Medicals is a good indicator that R10 is passed too. Just wait for some time as currently there are processing delays.

Hi @legalfalcon Thank you for such detailed explanations of the process — it is really very helpful among all this uncertainty!

I would really appreciate it if someone would advise me whether I need to order GCMS/CBSA notes on my situation. I am FSW-O, AOR 10 Aug 2020. When I called IRCC in November and December, the statuses were the same
Eligibility passed
Criminality in progress
Security not started
VO Ottawa

should I order notes? Or should I just wait now that eligibility is passed?

If your eligibility is passed, the GCMS notes won't help you much. However, you just have to make sure that your eligibility is conclusively passed.

Eligibility happens in two stages, see #4,004

Security usually commences only after eligibility passed.

You can request GCMS notes from either IRCC or CBSA. The information is the same, however, CBSA notes information pertaining to security which may not have been redacted.

To read on this, see https://bit.ly/3aELw48

To reason security screening, when it starts and how it is done, see https://bit.ly/3pF5YX5

Thanks for the response. I have extracted the text on the CRS discrepancy rather than the screenshot. It seems that verified CRS is less than my CRS at ITA & APR for some reason?

r87.1 CEC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - REVIEW REQUIRED ready to finalize

CRS score at ITA: 458, CRS points min score for round: 445 CRS, score at application (APR): 458 Total CRS points assessed: 373 / Verified CRS score: 373 I have reviewed the following CRS points:

WORK EXPERIENCE - Educational credentials provided: Bachelor’s degree: Law, 2019-06 to 2020-08 xxxx =, web-based search confirms employer information Letter confirms salary of CAD xxxxx - Letter confirms full time employment ; 2015-07 to 2018-06 xxxx

Letter confirms salary of N/A, Letter confirms full/time employment: CEC work: 0 years 0 months of 1 year - CRS foreign work: 0 years 0 months of 3 years - CRS Canadian work: 0 years 0 months of 1 year

Based on your notes, "Letter confirms salary of N/A," does your letter not include your salary?

Send in a web form instead to inquire about security and if the response comes back with that it's "valid" then that is good enough to confirm that Eligibility has been passed by an officer. You won't need GCMS or CBSA notes ...

If you do want your notes then it's almost as good as coin toss whether you will receive your GCMS file in 30 days or if it's going to take far longer (Some/one GCMS provider has disproportionately been receiving 90 day extensions, so beware from where you request)

This is based off stats from IRCC see
https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/documents/pdf/english/corporate/publications-manuals/atip-2019-2020-en.pdf

CBSA on other hand has a better track; review this detailed comparison for requesting Gcms Notes from IRCC vs CBSA https://bit.ly/34nuJPu that others are quoting from

Usually, before the end of Review of eligibility stage Medicals and Criminality are also passed. At this stage some applicants also receive a request to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) if it has not been paid upfront. If an applicant receives a request for the RPRF fee then it usually means that eligibility is recommended passed or passed.

Yes the letter includes salary, the agent confirms this In the comment above. This makes the next comment of ‘letter confirms salary of N/A’ even more confusing.
Thanks again for your experienced response to my GCMS issue, it is truly appreciated.

Hi @legalfalcon , I got GCMS notes back in early Oct 2020 and got one now a week ago. And both are exactly the same. Nothing has changed. Even though the first one had Due Date: 2020/10/12 and still nothing has changed in new GCMS notes. There is no new Due Date either. Remarks in both are from Case Processing Agent and the same. My AOR is in May 2020 and FSW-O. Any idea when might the Officer take a look at my case?

Based on the above notes, is it a good idea for me to quit my job and find another one? I don't get on with my manager at all and the only reason I am stuck with this job is because of the immigration process. I am worried that If I quit, my manager might deny my work experience if people from IRCC call.

How likely is it that they will review my employment details again?

I would really appreciate your input @legalfalcon for the above question. Please help a brother out :)

I think if our eligibility is passed that means all the documents which we submitted have been verified
I don't think they will enquire about your work write now
Mine also has same case
Even I want to quit my job but stuck due to immigration case
My aor is june 2020
From where you applied gcsm notes???

It's only recommended pass for now, it hasn't been passed by an officer. Only when it says ** Officer Review ** the eligibility is conclusively passed. I just wanted to know how likely it is that the officer might have them call my place of work. I would love to hand my resignation to my company and just move on with my life. My manager semi-seriously jokes about how my future is in his hands now and that he might reject my work experience if anyone calls. It's clearly taking a toll on my mental health.

Through @legalfalcon getgcms.com using CBSA. I received them in 35 days. They were kind enough to upgrade me to CBSA notes even though I paid for IRCC notes because IRCC was delaying all the notes at that time. I highly recommend them.

Hi @legalfalcon. Following the previous correspondence (page post https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/all-about-gcms-how-to-order-read-general-questions-answered.482200/page-201#post-9145013), I am happy to update you with the following from my second set of GCMS notes - both updated 2020/12/07:

ASSESSMENTS:
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Passed
Info sharing: Complete

NOTES: 1
Text: application triaged to IN - please review correspondence regarding police clearance for spouse
Kindly advise me what "application triaged to IN" means? Is there any need to be concerned? Would eligibility be passed if there was still a criminality issue? We could not get the clearance for Botswana so had to provide evidence, affidavits etc. to this effect.

NOTES: 2
***OFFICER REVIEW*** EE Eligibility: Passed. Based on the documents submitted and assessment of Case Analyst, I am reasonably satisfied that PA met the minimum requirements of CEC/FSW programs regulations. The duties listed in the letter(s) of reference appear to be consistent with the actions in the lead statement. PA meets the definition on provincial nominee and selection under PN Program. I am satisfied that PA meets A11.2 assessment. Funds assessment appears to be met: Funds required for a family of 4 $24,083 Available CDN funds as of 23 Dec 2019 $26,360.93 as per XXXbank statement (average balance is indicated on statement).

Pages 134 to 219 are withheld pursuant to section 16(2)(c) of the Access to Information Act
Does this mean Security has started as the pages are redacted?

Kindly let me know if we're in the all clear. As always, thankful for your contribution.

Currently there are rampant delays. Also, if you are an outland applicant, then IRCC is not processing many outland files.

If there has been no further update in your file from October until now, then no one has worked on your file and it is difficult to indicate when your file may be picked up.

As per note 2, your eligibility is conclusively passed.

The security is initiated after eligibility is passed, and when a request for security screening is sent to the National Security Screening Division (NSSD) and screening partners.

Since page 2 of your assessments indicates that security is not started, when it starts wit will be blank, which is an indication that it is in progress or passed.

To read on security, see https://bit.ly/3qIkkqU
