my passport expires on 18-05-2015 ... i need to renew it , but as u all know in 1 month , its not possible in Pakistan , any suggestions ...?

First congrats.......it must be Visa......
if you are an undergraduate student and you applied for 4 year bachelor programm then you should have a Valid passport that is valid for your 4 year bcoz CHC will issue you a 4 year multiple Visa.......but if you are going for masters then you need a passport that is valid 2 year.
i will suggest you to contact with any good agent regarding passport they take much money but you might be able to receive your passport within 2 weeks. actually passport offices are busy in these days due to HAJ.

oh yaaaarrrrrr first of all visa would be issued on the port of entry, secondly the forms ask only for a valid passport and the validity of the passport must be more thatn 6 months. so in my opinion adil should submit his passport reach canada and when there are only 6 months remaining in his passport validity he can get it renewed from there and then apply for visa again inside canada................. this is my personal view ok

In addition to what Farhan said (which i support), getting a new passport these days is virtually impossible.

The agent stuff is totally useless and waste of money. Govt. of Pakistan has serious issues these days issuing new passports due to shortage of lamination paper. You can google and read about it. People have been waiting on urgent applications for passports (new or renewal) for as long as 3 months.

He is going for Masters as i can see from the student list, so this shouldnt be a problem i.e. only bachelors would require 4 years.

In this case if you give this passport you will be given TRV till your passport expiry after that you will need new passport to get extention.

I am not sure how well aware others are about Pakistan. Let me spell this out once again clearly for you.

"There is no way to get a passport in pakistan these days in such a short time frame".

If you have doubts, check with any passport office (khi, lhr, isb). Read about passport stories these days in news. You will get a clear picture instead of wasting time and money to an agent with zero outcome.

There are no issues with repplying for extension latter during your stay. Just do it well in advance.

P.S. If it helps to know, i am a significantly experienced software professional and i know quite many people with existing visas on their passports who cannot go to another country these days because their passports expired and they couldn't get those renewed. Don't risk your visa stamping at this stage. Embassy would be pretty used to of people submitting passports quickly.

its painfully fact that the situation of passport is very bad now a days.So you should send your current passport as its very very difficult for you to get new one within given time. the only difficulty you can face is you will have to renew your passport in Canada. Go ahead and best of luck.
