Hi all,

I am currently working for a federal company in Ottawa as an IT developer and the job is remote. I have the interest to come and live in Alberta in order to apply the Alberta Tech Pathway PR program.

Since my company is the Federal Goverment company and the job is remote, I can come to work and live in Alberta. Below are my questions:

• If I now come to Alberta to live and work remotely, is the current job offer I am holding elgible to apply for Alberta Tech Pathway ? if not what is the reason?
• Does the job offer need to be full time permanent or can be full time contract?

Your job offer must be Alberta-based. So what you have now won't qualify. It's Ontario-based.
