I have already applied for Express Entry in September 2015.

After that I received Alberta nomination in December 2015.

I am expecting a reply from EE before end of February, so now I do not know what to do with the nomination letter.

Some friends advised me to apply in the old provincial nominee program (paper based & 1 year processing) in parallel with the EE application.

But I am hoping tol get a reply to my EE application.

Any advices ?

You should inform them about the nomination doesn't matter if you get anything or no may be that will help you in your file processing ...my 2 friends not nomination and they both informed cic same day .. And they are PR now ..

Thanks for your reply, but I really can't understand your time line.

did you apply in EE Stream together with the PNP stream ?

I am still waiting for opnp nomination, my company applied pre screenibg in july 2014 and got reply in oct 2015 and now i have applied pnp in nov 2015 and waiting for result. Even if i get nominated i have to apply via paper based application which can take near 15 months. This whole process will be more than 3 years for me :P. What i have learn is to have patience, After we applied, it is upto immigration department we cant do anything :)

No i applied my nomination in 2014 but i applied my ee in 2015 aug in cec so both are different and yes waste no time just send them CSE right away .

Thanks sharma1990 !

so you think submitting a CSE could delay the processing of the application?

I am a September applicant and it seems that they started processing the September applications few days ago.

Guys Can I apply for AINP individually, under Employer-Driven Stream? my employer will not apply, I am working in Alberta.

You and your employer need to meet the criteria in the 'Skilled Worker Category'. Before you do, take a look at the posts of others here. It seems like by the time you receive the nomination it is out of date. Why would you want to pay money for something you can't use?

Thank You so without employer involvement I can't apply for AINP individually?

You can if you are one of the following:

1) Occupations classified as compulsory or optional trades are listed here (http://tradesecrets.alberta.ca/SOURCES/PDFS/designated_trades_certification.pdf)

In addition, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

Intend to live and work in Alberta permanently;
Have one of the following:
An Alberta Qualification Certificate in a compulsory or optional trade, or
A Recognized Trade Certificate in a compulsory or optional trade.
Be residing in Alberta at the time of application on a valid work permit;
Show, at time of application, that they are either:
Currently working in their trade for an Alberta employer, or
Have been working in their trade for an Alberta employer for minimum 6 months in past 3 years.

2) Engineering Occupations Category

3) Post-Graduate Worker Category

It's in the same link.

Everything else is Employer Driven.

As you know, Alberta nomination is not linked to EE, that's why I though it has no relation with my application and I did not use it anywhere.

but it is mentioned in the AOR :
More particularly, please inform us about any:
• Change in circumstances such as the loss of a job offer or a Provincial or Territorial nomination;

Does that mean lose of nomination or getting nomination ?? I am confused.

I am about to send a CSE informing that I got the nomination, just for information, I know I will not affect the application.
Be would it add some value and confidence ?

Any opinions ?

Thanks
