Hello,
I graduated from a 4 year degree last April in Ontario, and I got my PGWP and moved to Manitoba for work. I have been working here for 8 months, and this is a contract position. I have a lot of interviews going on, and I just finished the final stage at one of them. They called me and asked if I am willing to relocate to Alberta for the job, instead of the Manitoba one I applied for. I said I am definitely open, but after I hung up, I'm thinking..I'm not sure how AINP works. I have been doing intensive research on the Manitoba PNP, but now I have to learn about the AINP, and its so new to me.
I see on the website that in order to qualify for AINP international graduate category, I have to have a permanent full time job offer there, and if I get this job, I will have this, so this is not a problem.
But my concern is, it says Temporary Foreign Workers working and residing in a province other than Alberta are not eligible. Am I included in this?
What is the best way to get PR in Alberta in my situation if I get this job? How quick is it to get PR through AINP? I know that for MPNP, it's pretty fast, and I met a lot of co-workers who went through MPNP and they were successful easily. I'm a bit worried about AINP because it's so new to me.
Any advice is welcome.
Thank you.
