Yes, they were not getting a response from my previous employer by email and wanted to confirm their contact details and my work experience with them. My previous employer changed their email address recently without me knowing.

I am facing the same situation as well.
My current employer received email from AINP to validate my employment and job title. I wonder if AINP sent to my previous employers as well.
