Got file number?

Hi. I have got NOI on July 31 and I have sent my docs and waiting for file number. My ielts is going to expire in nov. As I know after getting file no. The scores are freezed so it should not be a prob. However, I want to know do I need to have the same crs score after retaking of the test which I have now? My current score is 435 but if I fail to get clb 9 it will be around 380.
Who told u that scroes freeze after file number?? The ee profile will become ineligible

Yeah that sure it does. I was referring to alberta specifically. Once we get file no. Which is like AOR for alberta, even if ielts expires it doesn't matter however we need to have ielts for express entry to be eligible.

If profile become ineligible, pnp AB is of no value. Speaking from experience

I guess you dint understood wat I was referring to. Basically, now my ielts score is clb9 and crs is 435 and i got noi on july 31 with cut off of 400. My ielts will expire in nov and am going to take retest. My concern was if I have to keep the same clb9 score or clb 8 will also be fine as I have already submitted my docx.

As long as it is more than draw cutoff, it should be okay.

No mate. Your scores will freeze once you get the AOR after ITA. The nominations or getting the file numbers will not freeze your scores. It's the channel thru the federal which freezes the score.

So, we have to maintain the same crs score after retaking the tests too?

Can't say for Alberta. It fluctuates as lot. If it hits at 400-425, the next draw comes at 350. So I guess, Alberta is the best bet for you.
I already got NOI with 400 crs cut off with ielts score of clb9 which will expire on nov 15 and am retaking the test and not certain if I can get clb9 at the first go. If I dont get clb9 while my file is under process my crs will low down from the cut off i was selected. I am concerned if while being in process if my crs drops from 435 to 390 will alberta reject my file?
