Dear All,

I would like to apply for Alberta Nominee program; however, I am not sure with a few requirements that CIC needs. Kindly, please help advice and find situation summary and my questions below:

Situation: I just graduated from UBC with Masters in Business Administration. After I graduated, I received a work permit with last till Dec 2015 as well as a temporary resident visa with the same expiry date. Currently, I'm now working full time in a permanent job in Calgary in which it is qualified under NOC 0 for Alberta Nominee Program.

I'm interested in applying for the skilled-worker class for the Nominee program.

Questions:

1. Since I already have a work permit and am now working already, does my employer need to obtain the Labour Market Opinion (LMO)? If yes, how should my employer do so?

2. If I don't need LMO, does my employer need to get the evidence of LMO exemption?

3. I have a letter from my previous employee in Thailand stating how long I have been with the company and what position I held during the time. Is this sufficient to prove my work experience?

Thank you very much for all your inputs! I truly appreciate your time and help.

Cheers,
ak

Another two questions please: Can I use my "Post Graduation Work Permit" as the evidence of LMO exemption when I apply for AINP under the skilled worker category?

Lastly, the difference between the skilled worker class and the international graduate class is that the international graduate class doesn't require past work experience. Am I right?

Thanks so much!
