ALBERTA NEW AINP PROCESSING TIMMINGS

hi,
i am tfw in alberta just worried as they have increased the ainp timmings to 25 months could you plz help me in telling what is going on .i am currently under semi skilled .what should i do know should i change the province or stay here .i already have passed one year of work permit.my employer will promote me in near future.please advise me what to do,\.
