Good for you. Our employer said they applied last Aug 2011. And so far still no news for some reason. My 90 day limit is expiring in a week. I hope it would be released soon.

Hey,

Make sure to submit your work permit application even if you are pending on receiving your LMO. The reason being that if you lose your 90 day period in which you can restore your application, and then you will need to apply for a work permit in an embassy outside of Canada. Prepare a paper application, attach an acknowledgement of LMO receipt and use a courier (FedEx, DHL, Purolator) with a tracking number. Also write a letter explaining your situation an include it. You must pay all applicable fees and include them in your mailing package. It to arrive at the office PRIOR, may need to overnight, to the expiration date. They will hold your application until you receive a response on your LMO. If they don't receive the documents in a while or your work permit application is rejection, you get another 90 days to figure out your situation.
