Somewhere I read that we can change address only within the country (in our case USA).

I was thinking of changing my address to India, given my visa stamping delay. I have finished my medicals already.

Anyone knows about this??

Hi!

I have a question for people who send the documents to Buffalo Office - AINP Only (employer steam)

what is Your experience with sending documents to Buffalo

* how You have to prepare the documents?
* did You staples documents with more then one page?
* or did You leave without staples?
* did You add additional documents?
* did You staples how they want on helpful hints (money order on first page photos on second page (separate envelope for family member)
* did You put money order separate for all family members?

* did your application back to You (what was wrong with)
* they ask for some additional documents? (what kind of)

some advice?

regards

Hi 44,

I noticed you've asked this question on another thread before. Check the FAQ thread for a response from Albertagoverner or previous threads where your question has been addressed.

For CIC, send the documents in the same manner as you did for Alberta. The CIC folks receive a lot of applications from folks, including AINP nominees, so don't worry about them sending your application back. Do the best you can and don't get stressed.

Cheers!

Thanks ingegarcia and cchabert.

I am going to make a copy of the original birth-certificate (the native language one) and have it notarized and send it along with the translation copy's photocopy which I have already notarized.

Let's keep posting our progress, so we both know where we stand in this journey.

I will mail my package today. No representative, I am doing all the work. I do not have extra money to waste on representative and I do not want to slowdown my process because of the representative's schedule.

nix1,

it is 4 photos for each person.
nix1 - did not see a response/acknowledgment from you. make sure you attach 4 photos per person.
I am sorry! I forgot to respond your message. I appreciate you taking the time to remind me about the photo again. I have prepared 4 photos of each person and I have written name, DOB and date photo taken on the back of one photo of each person. I have put them in separate envelopes and wrote the name of the person, DOB and relationship. For my photo envelope, I wrote self/principal applicant for relationship.

Did you find about if they have cashed/cleared your cashier's check? Thanks.

I mailed my application package to the CIC Buffalo this afternoon at 1:04PM MST. They will receive it tomorrow before 12noon. It cost me $17.50 for that. It feels great to be able to send the package after almost 2 months from the date I received the nomination. Now I hope and pray that they will not send my package back for something that I forgot to do. As far as I know I have included everything they have asked for.

I had to sign at least 3 places and my wife had to sign two places. I have included 16 photos (4 for each person) and cashier's check of US$1190 for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Two things I am a little bit worried about are:
1) The photos do not have solid white backgrounds (one instruction says it has to be white and another instruction says it can be light-colored background, so not sure which one applies to me).
2) I did not place the Cashier's Check and photos the way they wanted (it did not make sense to me and did not seem practical). I did not staple them even though "the helpful hints" clearly said to staple them. I used a paperclip to attach the check and I used two paperclips to attach the photo envelopes. I attached the check on the top of the generic form and the photo envelopes at the bottom of the same page. As soon as they open the envelope, they will see both check and photos. I also placed "the checklist" on the top of my application covering the check and photos, but it is stapled separatley.

Thanks

If the Candidate is approved as a Provincial Nominee and they find employment in their field in Alberta, the AINP may be able to issue a letter of support that would help the Candidate start working in Alberta right away, prior to their application for permanent residence with CIC being finalised.
