Hello everybody,

I am looking to move to Alberta after my graduation from British Columbia so, i was going through the official website for the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) and I came across this:

Eligible applicants

-A Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) held by a graduate of an Alberta Advanced Education publicly funded post-secondary institution

Does this means that only the graduates from an Albertan institute are eligible for this program?
or we can move to Alberta after our graduation with a PGWP and work there and finally apply for AINP?

Thanks

Seems like it. In order to apply for this program under Alberta you should graduate from publicly funded post secondary institution, which does make sense

Thanks for the reply,
So this means if you move into Alberta after graduating from a different province make you ineligible for the AINP?

Do we have any other options to move to Alberta with a PGWP and apply for pr sometimes?

Thanks

All provinces have different rules for their own pnp streams. With Alberta, and correct me if I'm wrong, not only do they require the graduation from that province, but also the occupational class has to be related to your original education in your own country.

this particular program requires you to be a graduate from the Alberta post-secondary institution
