Hey folks,

With oil prices being so volatile and economic growth sliding down in Alberta, does any one have any inkling of whether CIC would reconsider applications from Alberta before approving even though we may be well qualified. It seems Ontario is heading for a booming economy. So do I have enough reason to assume that applications from Ontario would be priority?

Any thought/comment/information would be much appreciated !

If Alberta have already given you a PNP, CIC would not bother whether Alberta is booming or not...I think it has no effect on your application...

No I don't have a PNP. My application might as well get rejected for other reasons. My question was meant for all Alberta applicants given the economic slowdown here.

Question to the forum : Any idea of upcoming trends folks?

CIC works for Canada not a province its global number not a individual province PNP is province specific CEC FSW ext is national but you correct PNP may slow down
