The following numbers are accurate as of December 20, 2021.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sets the limits for nominations the AINP can issue each year. IRCC provided 6,250 nomination certificates to Alberta for 2021.
The AINP has issued all 6,250 certificates for 2021. The AINP will continue to assess applications in the queue; however, no further certificates will be issued until January 2022.
There are approximately 475 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 775 expression of interest applications in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

That means there are 1,250 applications are already in the system, and in 2022 IRCC will give again 6,250 new nomination limit. This means in 2022, there will be only 5,000 new nominations will be given.
I guess we have to wait until Jan 2022. They will continue doing assessments and will generate certificates in Jan 2022.
Yes, it was, because a person who I know, just received an NOI on that day. That's why I ask for anyone else who received the NOI on Dec 14th. Maybe it was a special draw for some person.
Last draw for the year was Nov 24. You can refer to AINP details below + nominations/processing are done for this year. New draws start in Jan. Vet the info from your contact.

I haven't stopped issuing NOI's IMO the last draw happened on the 20th of Dec before this 7th Dec was the date when the previous draw happened. You will see when they will release the details of it.
AINP has stopped issuing nominations for 2021, they will resume the process in Jan 2022.
I got information today that I will be getting promoted in my job from 1Jan onwards. My AINP application is submitted and is being assessed. Do I need to update AINP about my promotion?

I need your advice. I’m currently a graduate student in UofC Civil engineering department.
I’m planning on applying for Alberta AINP. My CRS score is currently 344. I don’t have a job offer because I’m still studying.
Also I have a brother who just got his permanent residence.
Is it possible for me to get nominated If I apply.
