Hello everyone,

I just got an update on my application and I only have 2 days to submit the response. This is for my brother. So I'd really appreciate if anybody here can help.

My brother has been asked the following:

- Provide a copy of your taxes for 2020
- Provide bank statements for each pay period.

Now the problem is my brother was only paid in cash for the pay periods. He received his salary every month in cash from the company which also doesnt reflect on the bank statements either. Moreover, he didnt file his taxes for 2020 since his income was reasonably low and hence he didnt file his taxes. He got paid like 180 CAD per month in his country (Pakistan).

Can anybody help how do I address this issue? We only have two days to submit.

Thanks so much friends.

Here's a few things you could try:

- Show offer letter from the company stating the date of offer and monthly salary
- If you don't have an offer letter, request a letter from the company (on their letterhead) stating your brother worked with them from [date] to [date] and earned a salary of [PKR] per month
- Cite an official source (tax brackets listed on State Bank's website, for example) that state/indicate an individual making less than [x] amount per year is exempt from filing taxes. You would have to ensure that your brother's annual salary sums up to less than that number

I am curious why you would be asked for this information. Is this application for you or your brother? If you are the primary applicant, has your brother recently moved to Canada?

Guys !! As per your experience what would be the criteria to select a candidate from express entry based on the below factors (SAME NOC)?

1) CRS above 470 ( No connection to alberta / No Job offer )
2) CRS below 400 ( Immidiate family member in Alberta)

I came to know recently guys are receiving NOI's on 2281/2282 NOC (tech's). Anyone who got recently would you share your timeline ?

Thanks for the quick response man. This is for my brother and I'm helping him out. The offer letter was already supplied while applying for AINP stating the salary and the specified dates. But again, I'm not sure how to provide them with bank statements because bank statements wont show his salary that he received in cash. I fear the application might get declined that way. He can do what you mentioned about the taxes. But how can he prove that the salary was paid in cash and provide a legitimate information regarding this?

I'm sure HR must keep a record of salaries as they are paid out. Is it possible to request a document from them with monthly logs highlighting the amount that was paid out to your brother? They can blank out other information, of course.

I would highly suggest submitting the bank statements, even if they don't show the money being deposited directly from the company.

I'm hoping your brother would eventually deposit (at least some of) the cash he received in salary to his account every month? That could be highlighted in the statements along with a letter of explanation.

That's sad, if someone rejects PNP.
I don't see any Open FSW draws since Jan 2021.
on CRC website all those draws since Jan 2021 has been either PNP or CEC.
Whoever is waiting for FSW category with 450+ score are the ones getting invitations from AB. (probably from other provinces too)
