My NOC is 2253 and I submitted my ADR on Oct, 14.
You can also check the "Processing Status Date" and ask your employer whether they have received a letter from the officer.
Best wishes
My noc is also 2253 and I submitted 10 October. My employer checked his email. I think the volume of applicants is high compared to the last month. I wish both of us give nomination this week.

My NOC is also 2253, so what proof did you submit to show that you are actually working there as per the ADR ? I submitted my application on 16th, fingers crossed. And good luck to you,
In addition to the letter of employment and insurance records which I uploaded at the time of submitting my application, I provided the payslips of the last 12 months and my work contract for the officer.

Guys,

I submitted the application on 27th Sep, (2132) and portal still shows submitted. Is it fine? Has anyone from same timeline received any update?
Hello Guys,

FYI, I received email from the program officer regarding additional proofs which include the tax return, pay stubs and the bank statement. I have submitted those.
I have a query, in the portal status shows as "information requested". Does this mean they have only requested from me or employer as well? I am not in very good terms with my previous organization so bit worried.

Hard to know. The status changes to "information requested" in the case where you and/or your employer(s) get asked for additional documents. But in my case Alberta didn't even contact my previous employer. They only contacted my current employer.

Do you mind telling how many years you have been working for the current employer? I am currently in a firm for 6 years so wondering if they will contact my previous employer. Thanks

I wouldn't even mention a previous employer if I had 6 years in the same company. You know you only need 3 years to get max EE points for work experience. I've been in my current job for 2 years now. They most likely won't contact your previous employer.

Hello there, I am applying for the same NOC and came to know that 2133 regulated in Alberta. Could you help me understand how to go about filling this field?: "Are you working in an occupation that is regulated in Alberta (not including trades)?". I don't have any licence.

You need to answer "YES" to that question and submit a "letter of no objection" obtained from APEGA: https://www.apega.ca/members/letter-of-no-objection

APEGA gave me my letter a day after I submitted all required documents so it is a quick process. You do not have to be licensed in Alberta to apply for AINP; just get your letter of no objection and submit that.

Hello everyone!

I have got NOI from Alberta and while applying, I came across a question:
Are you working in an occupation that is regulated in Alberta (not including trades)?

Looks like my NOC (2133) is provincially regulated as this occupation is regulated in Alberta - APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) is the PRO (Professional Regulatory Organization). Getting licensed is a lengthy process for which the timelines given by NOI won't suffice. Also, citizenship or PR is a requirement for licensing process as per https://open.alberta.ca/dataset/02790f48-ec65-4d6d-ab2a-60d7b704de84/resource/403de81d-e0ce-4b8d-87fd-edba2930be3b/download/professional-engineer-fact-sheet-rev-jan-2016.pdf.

What should be my next step? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
