I just also realized that I by mistakenly opened my file it says modified on 3rd march but I did not make any changes, does anyone know if that affects my file being processed sooner?

Hmmm that is really weird, than I am really confused as to why my file still hasn’t opened yet!
Not for the status change itself, no. Just the actual email where they were asking for an additional piece of info.

Congrats!! That's quite a long time from info request to nom, but hey, it all worked out!!
Hey RobynCarpenter, glad that your application is moving, I had submitted on 11Feb and still status showing submitted. Anyway did they request additional information from you or your present and previous employers or both? What are the information they ask, please let me know for both applicant and present and previous employers? Thanks.
cc @MMCA4244: They emailed me to ask for an additional form signed by my partner. I have asked my employer but so far they have not received an inquiry from AAIP.
Try and have your employer check there spam folder, I have heard scenarios where is does go to spam folder.
