1221 is one of such codes that take longer to process. A little more patience, I guess. I have the same NOC. You can see more information about processing times here:

I received NOI for AINP on 16th March and Checklist on 18th March.
Sent documents on 24th April and they received it on 26th April.
Have not received AOR or File number yet.

When should I be expecting a response and what are the next steps after receiving file number update?

Hi even I have the same noc and ainp have received my documents on 23rd April.. no file number yet.. one of the member in the forum told me that documents received after 18th April have not received any file number due to elections and Easter..

Hey, got my Letter of Interest from Alberta on 25th April, Accepted on the 8th of May, Have submitted my application to Alberta. Would like to know how much time does Alberta generally take to send a Nomination??

My took one month. I got my file number on 9th April and nominations certificate on 13th May.

No further steps. Only file your case and select all provinces in express entry profile. Alberta will select your profile automatically, you don't need to apply to them

I have been doing my PhD in Canada for the last 4 years. I created my Express entry profile in March 2019. My NOC is 0211 Engineering Manager. My CRS score is 363. My CELPIP L10 R8 W8 S8. Still waiting for NOI. Maybe because my NOC is in the list https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/foreign-workers/refusal.html#LOC i will not be selected. My wife also has her EE profile and has foreign work experience as an accountant and Canadian work experience for more than 1 year. Still nothing...still waiting...It seems that Canada do not need people who are already integrated in Canadian society...

Hi Guys, I received NOI from Alberta on 2nd April 2019, I accepted and sent all the required documents to Alberta. They received it on 23 April 2019, but I have not yet got any file number from them as of today May 19th. My NOC is 2132. Could you please tell why this delay happens?
