Airport of Entry Work Permit Application

Hi,

I would like to know what is the process if I am applying for work permit via airport of entry (Calgary International Airport). I already have the offer letter and all documents I might need. Below are my questions,

1. Should I go to the CBSA office inside the airport, is the CBSA office sign visible?
2. Is there a separate line for application to work permit
3. Is the border officer the same with immigration officer?

Sorry, for this silly questions, I hope someone who has gone through the process can reply to this.

1. Everyone goes through the primary inspection line. You tell the officer that you are here to get a work permit, show the LOI. S/he will direct you to Immigration secondary where the work permit will be processed.

One more thing is, be prepared. Have all ur documents handy, ur LMO, Contract and ur employers contact details, they will ask for it in some cases like the one I experienced. Make sure to answer directly and confidently so they wont doubt u. Goodluck..) Show the letter u got from embassy as required.

Hello. Did you apply online for the work permit before you go to the airport or you just apply directly to the airport.
