Thank you for answer. Can I travel back to my home country with the work visa and re-enter to Canada?

I currently have a visitor visa, I applied for a work permit in the Frnch Mobility program through an Agency. My work permit is approved and my agent sent me the letter to submit my passport to Canadian VFS to stamp the work visa, I would like to know if my visitor visa will be still valid please.

It is not expired yet it will be expired on Sep 22, 2024

I am not living in my home country. My residency permit is expired in the country that I live currently. I submiited the application for renewal but it is still in process, I would like to know if I can apply for a work permit outside of Canada while I am waiting for the new residency card, please.
