Hi Friends,

Which will be the best option to travel from India to Canada in terms of maximum luggage allowed and cost.

And where one should book the flight , from travel agent or online booking.

I'll need to travel from Mumbai to Toronto in first week of September.

Thanks,
Siddhesh

Choose from these airlines
1. British Airways via London-Heathrow
2. Emirates via Dubai
3. Etihad via Abu Dhabi
4. Cathay Pacific via Hong Kong
5. Korean Air via Seoul-Incheon
6. Lufthansa via Munich
7. KLM via Amsterdam
8. Swiss via Zurich
9. Turkish via Istanbul-Ataturk
10. Jet Airways via Delhi-Brussels

Better book online. Travel agents add some commission and service charges.

if you want real experience then EMIRATES all the way!!

Sometimes they are expensive surely Emirates are the best! seocndly the A380 Flight (Dubai - Toronto) Seriously its once in a life time experience on the Mighty Jumbo!!

Eithad is really good aswell.. frankly most people these days are using EITHAD as they are slight cheaper to Emirates. They fly boeing 777-300er/200lr (Abu Dhabi - Toronto)

hey if u want u can also try from pune.....as on somedays the cost from pune is less as compare to mum. specially on 1st week of sept. I had checkd da rate last week it mght hv increased ......but der is no harm in tryin if u can go thru pune(but filght journey will be longer)

Just remember not to take any flight via US since as
An Indian you will need transit visa for US

Indians don't need transits visa in Europe and hence
Europe as transit is recommended

Thanks a lot for the suggestions friends, I will be browsing flight details on expedia, yantra and few more.
and thinking I may book a flight that way.

But , there is no info. about how may KG's will be allowed .
I have heard that students are allowed to carry more in terms of KG's, is it true ?

Which flight company does allow maximum KG's to carry in luggage , anyone has idea ?

Thank you friends, your suggestions really helped in choosing correct airline.
Halting at USA would had required transit visa , so avoided that.

Finally, this afternoon booked a ticket with British Airways Mumbai - Toronto via London.

Cheers !!
