AIP requirement not by all Unis

Hello,

theres some confusion by few people about AIP needed for starting online classes.Each university is different. So email the international student office. My university for example, McGill, has allowed us to start online classes even if we have not received AIP but we can show proof that we have applied for it and are waiting for it. Other quebec students can also show CAQ letters as proof of having applied for permit. We have been given time till mid November to show study permits. So talk to your own university and see what they require.

Have they allowed to attend without paying fee?

I paid my tuition fee for this semester already. Im not sure if extension is allowed or not. Again it varies and can only be known by contacting office of your specific university.

It's not about getting allowed to attend the online classes or not it is more about how secured one feel when you have AIP in your hands. My university i.e University of Calgary has told us that it's a matter of personal choice because they're not going to issue any kind of refund after you begin your online classes. So, overall things are getting way out of our hands.
