AINP timeline for employer driven skilled category

Yeah it was real slow that time...i know if it has something to do with the strike

Hey did you apply in skilled or semi skilled category? I wonder why its so slow now....did you ask for an update when your AINP was in process?

I applied and got file number on 31st of Oct but since nothing. I applied for the employer driven skilled category, what do you guys think i can do?

Skilled...i did called them after 30 days my application was sent...the girl in phone said my application was in que for review...
Did not received any communication untill they asked additional documents then after another month i received my nomination

haha thats true - but that is the issue right that they havent even given a file number after a month.
They check you with your name and other details

Guys is it ok to phone ainp and to ask what happened to my application? I dont know if it is true because a friend told me that its not allowed to make any follow up? What should i do?

I dont know what your friend means - it says on the website that they dont cater to application status - it does not mean that you cant follow up once the minimum time has passed.
Espc if you dont even have the file number after 30 days - you must get in touch. ( i dont know anyone on this forum who hasnt got a file number for 30 days)

There is nthn to be scared or afraid of - They wont cancel your application coz you called them to follow up.
I dont know why friends and other people try to scare off other people..it just sucks.

They might not tell your employer anything about your application though....I am not sure - Like there is no form of consent. You should call them (its not so difficult u know)
